Each floor’s SMES units are not properly wired. Current setup is able to cause mass power outages forever due to the batteries attempting to charge themselves.

AFAIK, you could remove the SMES by the SM, and instead hotwire the SM’s power output to each floor’s SMES input, then wire the SMES output to the floor.
Please fix the power on the station or take it out of rotation until it’s fixed. It’s absolutely unplayable.
The SMES by one of the z-level comms is wired just as badly. Also, the APC of that maint area is not wired at all. And for all the comms on the stacking z levels (apart from Eng) don’t have a power source, but are running.
i like the idea and what it’s trying to be. there are some comfy spots, i like the abundance of plants, and i like the direction that it takes ss13 map design.
that said, the verticality is confusing and the layout is only made worse by the fact that the central part of the station is dominated by an impassible hole, with only small text-based maps for guidance. things feel jammed together with unclear reasoning behind things like department placement, and the unfamiliarity of it only increases that effect. a lot of places, including high-traffic areas like the south main staircase or the medbay stasis beds, only have 1 space of free movement between furniture and walls, which creates an unrealistically uncomfortable space to be in from both a gameplay and IC perspective.
i appreciate the work that’s gone into this map and can’t wait to see it when it’s finished. however, right now i would have to say that it’s definitely not finished.

Nukies can only land on floor 1
Problem being there’s not any room on floor 1 for a nukie shuttle
should let the nukies drive right through the bottom floor and topple the entire building
They’re aware of the z-level issues with ships that can fuck up pirates/nukies, we should hopefully see a fix soon but unsure if they’ll also need Bacon to help since it’s shutle-cruise related
It’s very sad because 3/3 i’ve seen pirates on glow they all end up suiciding due to being unable to traverse anywhere, not even wasting all their c4 leads them to a station wall
The nukies can somehow make it work because they have jetpacks and can go up and down but the ship usually lands veeeery far and causes slips, etc, definetly not a good idea if they go war mode because of all the time lost
i think there should be a couple of spots on different levels for ships to land, sometimes far, sometimes close, this would also benefit explorer-science-mining-tc syndie shuttle for any antag strategy that
might need it
Someone suggested that a possible solution could be for the ships to be able to break the cold stone walls when they land.
The xenobio containment area has a major flaw, anything contained in it can just break through a window and destroy the force field generator. Needs at least to have either stronger windows or recessed shield generators
In chemistry there isn’t a chemfridge on medbay s side. Only a public one.
Maybe pirates should get pickaxes. I think I’ll code that when I get home (I can’t think of anything to help them with z levels other than jetpacks but that would give them an unfair advantage in space on other stations).
Yeah, Pirates with jetpack would end up being too much for the regular stations tbh, i thought about simply giving them pickaxes as well could be a band-aid fix for now

Oh, so that means nuke hardsuits don’t come with that one? I do remember you mentioning that… Do they have it in any capacity or it’s also unobtainable by them? I saw an officer the other day with one, unsure how they got it
