Incident Description:
The player was the leader of the nuke team. While we were trying to discuss a plan, they declared war, then ran off and disguised themselves as a nanotrasen station official and left the other two agents. They told us to “create a distraction”.
Later in the round, we assaulted the bridge and died. Garret then had several opportunities to take the disk and complete the mission, but did not do so, and instead helped the station win.
Later, in OOC, the player mentioned that they were doing this on purpose, since they believed nukies were “low RP” and “anyone who wants to play nukies should go to TGStation”, so they fully admitted that they were sabotaging their team mates.
We would have been totally open for discussing a creative plan for what we could do as nukies instead of just going in guns blazing, but they didn’t even give us opportunity to do that, they just went ahead and did their own plan.

Replying the message above: That’s extremely incorrect, i would say this is more or less of that situation being SKILL ISSUE/Lack of situation awareness:
Milli(Captain) was clearly allowing the antagonist(Bieyes) to play out their gimmick but not handing it out for free, when the shuttle was about to depart Milli announced that she was going to stay behind(First sign of goodsportmanship to give the antag a chance), then they said to the agent that there was free AA at HoPline(earlier they saw they didn’t had access, second sign of goodsportmanship), third they left the actual disk on the desk (third sign of goodsportmanship) and were messing around clearly playing dumb to give them a chance to see if they could make it, hell even Milli got ABDUCTED by the aliens but… Bieyes decided that shooting a barrier generator (three magazines of 10mm and multiple hits of potted plants) was more important ¿? Even a borg came and tried to drag them away and show them the teleporter room(even bolting open the door that led there)
So Bieyes had everything handled for free, they just had to take the VERY OBVIOUS actions to try and set the nuke off, so no… they didn’t steal the disk, they just missed a LOT of very obvious oportunities(even when their own teammates breached bridge to attack) to complete their objective.
Regardless of that, the Syndicate player that’s doing the report, along the others tried to communicate plenty of time on what to do (rare instances of nukies following who’s the ‘‘leader’’ of the team) and tred to get in touch, of course Bieyes was on bridge most of the time but it was just Milli and A.L.I.C.E for the most part and they could’ve side-step to answer(they did that to pretend they were talking to centcom) i feel like they ignored their comrades to do their own thing.
Also it’s kinda… weird to declare war and THEN try to do a stealth gimmick without informing or coordinating your team, it felt like they were playing a weird loneop instead of working together with their teammates, i watched the entire round and how it played out.
As Bieyes, I knew what Milli was doing and she even said in looc what she was doing. She stayed behind after shuttle left, 2 minutes till shuttle docks (2 mins to explode the station.) I only had a surplus rifle and the standard nukie gun on my person to match with the gimmick. The captain was obviously heavily armed and had armour and in would likely result in my ic characters death. Even though I could’ve done it and likely suceeded, it isn’t a smart and rational thought that would go into an IC character’s head, hey lets use the worst weapons given to me and try kill this heavily armed person. I did end up getting the disk by waiting for Milli to leave and was focusing on breaking the shield generator first so that I could go out to my ship once Milli left so I could get the disk. I also told my teammates on comms that captain was basically alone in bridge which is why they did the tactical assault on Bridge. I did help in that assault in a meniscal way by ‘accidentally’ shooting A.L.I.C.E with my gun when they were shooting my teammates and by the time I had the disk the round had already ended. Meaning you are asking ME to detonate a nuke within 2 minutes and walking extremely slow with a skinsuit because the entire place with in vaccum aswell.
Alright I’m just gonna say upfront that the in-round chatter and OOC means a lot more to me than the justifications made in this thread. Changing up what your motivations were after the fact only takes credibility away from you. This is extraordinarily unacceptable behavior and you shouldn’t even have team nukies enabled if this is what you’re going to do when you get the role.
Because of the strong intent behind this, even though this is your first major incident as an antagonist this is being escalated to a more serious ban. You actively ruined the round for other players on your team and refused to take part in a role you specifically enabled in your preferences, despite the station trying desperately to engage with the gimmick you both claimed and appeared to be doing.
If you don’t like a role, don’t sign up for and play it.
Actively ruining the game for others is the worst thing you can do.
