Feel like that is the perfect way to hijack the shuttle, just a super large swarm of mushrooms at evac while you get on through space.
They dont and wont attack non mushrooms. They dont even attack in self defense. Killer tomatoes are better.

Inject debilitating chemicals into the publicly available food. I turned a secoff into a slime this way.

Get an Odysseus, grind up any food item, scan the reagents. Shoot people with giant Nutriment syringes for fat hell.

Well, a fav of mine is, for bone antags.
Bomb medbay with a syndie bomb. Get a sleepynpen, find gondola pocket (tc trade?) And from there stealth gondola the crew

you can order random donk pockets from cargo which can come with gondola pockets pretty consistently
