Coolie#6969 mute appeal

Discord ID: Coolie#6969

Admin Discord ID: I think it was Ruko#7940, but not entirely sure as my memory’s hazy

Ban Type: Mute

Ban Length: Perma

Ban Date (MM/DD/YYYY): 9/9/2020

Ban Reason: Sending the N word to a dude that was just asking for it in chat.

Appeal Reason: Got nothing better to do and the salt mines is pretty boring. I also noticed that Ruko’s been muted so I wanna laugh in his face. Also that entire thing with unjust ban as I was immediately muted and not given any warning.

Additional Information: I’m writing this at 11 PM on a weekday while sleep deprived. If this actually gets me unmuted then I’ll do nothing because I don’t wanna make false promises.

Scratch that, 12 PM. Sorry about that.

Saying at least a “sorry I won’t do it again” would go a long way.
Some pretty bruh warnings. Slurs and nazism is not okay. Though I could see the 1point for toeoing the line getting removed as you’ve now fully crossed it. I guess…

A thin ice unban after OP stated they have been muted for a month, though I haven’t checked the times.
Suggesting removing the 1 point.

Ahem

I apologize, my actions are unforgivable and they definitely crossed the line. I promise, I will never do it again. While I understand if you wish to keep me banned, I only seek forgiveness. I have changed since when I was banned and am no longer that edgy. I don’t remember what the nazism thing was about, but I assure you that I am not a nazi, I am actually a capitalist. My intentions weren’t to cause harm to anyone in the Beestation community.

Checking the warnings, I was the one who last warned you. The reasoning was for the following:

Calling out that we don’t allow for slurs just to follow-up and DM someone those very slurs in a point to bully them, doesn’t suddenly make it any less against our rules. Rule 2 and 1 breaks.

So, overall, not cool and, despite what was said in the apology, your intention was to cause harm in this instance. I’m sorry to say, but I’m not overly convinced here.

So, for now, I’m going to decline your appeal. You’re welcome to try again next month.
