Cobrador mascarado Antagbanned by Admin RukoFamicom

CKEY: Cobrador mascarado

Admin’s CKEY: RukoFamicom

Ban Type: Permanent (Forced Antagonists, All Antagonists)

Ban Length: Forever

Ban Date: 2024-09-08 19:29:37

Round ID: 49915.

Ban Reason: Very poor antagonist conduct. Trying to be as destructive as possible as a wraith, asking incessantly over and over until finally they said “Please don’t destroy the AI or Comms” and decided this meant they could go be as destructive as possible as long as these two things didn’t happen. This is a permanent ban until you show that you can play the game normally without overly destructive tendencies as a normal crew member for a while.

My Perspective: I joined this round as a ghost and was offered the choice to become a shade, which I accepted and got placed inside a wraith. We were planning what we could do, so the other wraith and I suggested that we could go around the station and sabotage things such as the AI or comms. However, our master didn’t agree with that plan after some thought because they concluded that it would provoke security to fight back or something similar.

After this, we kept following him, but he didn’t do anything remotely related to his objective for the entire time I was around him. He just walked around with his group of constructs, engaging in very low-level RP, drinking beer, and calling security “shitsec.” I was understandably bored and confused, so I suggested twice during these events that I do something else. On the second suggestion, he allowed me to go, with the condition that I didn’t break the AI, comms, or kill anyone—I was basically told not to get him into trouble.

I went to space and started breaking things there. I only had time to break cameras around the AI (without actually attacking the AI or revealing myself), and while that was happening, apparently my master got upset. Ruko bwoinked me, asking if I was doing what my master had asked me to, to which I said yes and showed him the logs proving that my master had allowed it. Ruko even reinforced this narrative in the ban reason.

Ruko decided to give me this permanent ban even though I provided concrete proof that I was simply doing what my master allowed and was keeping it safe.

Why I Think This Ban Should Be Removed:

1. I wasn’t as destructive as Ruko claims: I only disabled cameras and broke glass windows—nothing more than that.

2. I was clearly allowed by my master: I was simply doing what I got permission to do.

3. The claim that I was “bloodthirsty” is greatly exaggerated: I only asked to do something because my master was doing nothing. I was simply following the permissions given to me and being safe about it by not going overboard and only breaking cameras.

4. I wasn’t the only one that agreed on the plan: Even though my master got upset afterward, the only reason he didn’t allow me to go do my thing at first was because he didn’t want security to attack us. That’s why I tried convincing him by saying I’d be responsible. He only got upset later because he probably needed me afterward and I wasn’t near him, but that’s not my fault.

5. Ruko himself admits to not knowing what happened fully: Neither Ruko nor my master knew exactly what I did. Both of them admitted in adminhelps that they didn’t see what I broke, and Ruko just assumed from the logs that I did something destructive, which isn’t true.

Note: Just so this is VERY clear, Ruko sent me to admin prison as soon as he took the ticket, and he claimed after I was already in prison that he had no context of what happened. So, chronologically, he didn’t even see what I did because it was already done by the time Ruko admitted he didn’t see it. This proves that Ruko gave this sentence using only the logs of me asking my master to go, to determine that I was destructive.

6. The banning reason lies about what happened: Ruko claims that my master said, “Please don’t destroy the AI or Comms,” and that I interpreted this as meaning I could be as destructive as possible as long as those two things weren’t targeted, which is not true at all! First of all, what my master said was, “Don’t break the AI or comms, but sure,” which is not even close to what is stated in the banning reason. Also, I wasn’t “as destructive as possible”; I literally just broke cameras. Can you please come here and explain what you think I did this round? Because I don’t see how breaking cameras makes me a very destructive antagonist—that would be light griefing at best if you tried to stretch it, not an antagonist policy break

I don’t know if it matters but I (Solene) and Ingemar were in the AI sat when Mary was destroying things.

That I know of, she broke like 4 windoors and a window outside the sat.
But before investigating we only heard banging, which spooked the AI and us.

While attempting to “save” the AI we sabotaged one APC, and found another one broken.

I believe a revenant was causing destruction as well because the APC was down and the cleanbot was emagged.
The Revenant then killed us.

This to say, if some destruction of the AI sat was seen, me and the Revenant also have something to do with it and it wasn’t just Mary.

Hope this helps

This had nothing to do with damage being done specifically to the AI satellite. It has to do with being the cyborg in this comic:

Your master was trying to be a gimmicky antagonist, and you were totally ignoring their will in favor of being as destructive as possible to the station. You said, and I quote:

  • Master could I just sabotage things
  • I can kill AI, break power lines and comms
  • Brother, lets go to solars, break all solar things
  • Lets get going
  • Master can I just do my thing and come back later
  • Why are we getting beer, we will be losing time.

And those are only the screenshots of logs I grabbed so you’ll have to wait for a full admin with better access to pull them.

Yes, at the start of the ticket these were the case. I logged into the game to find multiple tickets about your conduct from your own team about how you were acting out and going off to do your own thing against orders, and I found your entire team in one place except for you and chose to isolate you in admin prison for two reasons:

  • To give me time to get a better picture of what happened
  • Out of an abundance of caution both to make sure you weren’t griefing, and also to make sure you weren’t killed while we were talking as can easily happen when bwoinking someone who is unable to hide and very visibly threatening.

would you like to admit that i did not cause any major damage in this round?

Allow me to add context to those phrases

Master could I just sabotage things: I was asking him the first time to go, I think we were in the bar and I started getting bored of doing nothing

I can kill AI, break power lines and comms: As I said, I was discussing with my master at the beggining what i could do, and i suggested sabotage

Brother, lets go to solars, break all solar things: My master and the other wraith initially agreed on the sabotage plan, so the wraith asked me where we should go and I said solars, my master changed his mind later so we followed him instead

Lets get going: Can you please explain what’s wrong with this phrase?

Master can I just do my thing and come back later: I was asking him again if I could go, because he wasn’t doing anything towards his objective and therefore i wasn’t able to do anything either, and just followed him around. Wanting to do something in a round instead of following your master while he taunts security dosen’t seem like the most unusual thing

Why are we getting beer, we will be losing time.: I was bored of doing nothing

I think you changed topics here. Can you go into more depth about when and how you got the context for the situation?

Hello, I was one of the artificers in the group and would like to give my side of the story.

The reason why we got confused on your actions is that you started pushing the narative on sabotaging the station. After which we had a very long and boring converasation in IC and LOOC where we discussed that while wraths are good for sabotage it would be a dick move to criple the station, which our master agreed to it.

As I understood our entire plan was to chill out as a group and wait for our assasination target Explorer Horologium to return, which led to a very boring waiting period.

During this period security were suspicious of us but let us remain in peacefull terms, during this period we were Rping silly scenarios, which one of them was us artificers being put in genpop jail.

During this time our master at no point Gave us the signal to go mayhem and fight or sabotage the station, and when we regrouped we noticed that you were missing. We had a small conversatio. About you
“Where is the 2!nd wrath”
“Did he just leave?”
and I might be wrong but I believe our master told us that he did not gave you the permission to go sabotage.

Shortly after like 5 minutes later the gravity generator went offline, which is where I made the ahelp and decided to get an admin involved. Believing it was your selfless actions.

Thank you for the extra context, let me just briefly comment on this

I don’t think that anyone explained that to me, that’s why I was so impatient, I think that happened because I was the last to be constructed. If I was informed that you guys were just waiting for the target then I wouldn’t have gone anywhere, but that was not the case.

He did, there’s proof of it in logs, @Ruko
may be able to testify that I’m saying when he truth here because I showed him that I had permission to go

That wasn’t me, and even if it was it would be IC issue because I got permission to do that. Not that I would do anything close to that because he specifically told me not to break important things

No I never found the proof you claimed in the logs. I told you this in the ticket.

Your master said this when I asked them whether or not they gave you permission to leave and sabotage the station:

i said no killing or destroying big stuff like AI or comms and he just left

If he did give you confirmation I didn’t find it. What likely happened is a different construct asked a question and you took the answer intended for them.

But you were gone with no trace and didn’t return

That is the point of view of two different constructs and your master.

You may look further if you want. I copy pasted for you in the ticked the moment my master confirmed directly to me that I could go.

It went something like this:

“Master, can I go?”
“No destroying AI or comns”
“But sure”

Then I left

No, he said “but sure”, he wouldn’t have said that if he didn’t impose any prior condition (that’s what the word “but” implies), and he didn’t apply any condition to any questions other than mine

Irrelevant, I’ve given you concrete proof that this was not the case and if you didn’t find it you just didn’t look for it enough

Because I was in admin prison

You didn’t, I copy pasted you the logs and asked if that prooved my innocence, you sayd “no” and then completely disregard that without giving much explanation as to why, then asked me to come to the forums to discuss this despite the fact that someone had already prolonged the round and we had all the time to fact check the incident

So what I’m getting from this, after going over logs too…

~ you where trying to get permission to break shit to the point of essentially harrassing your master here, and because your master didnt forbid you from breaking everything only specific things, you decided to try and go wreck shit that they didnt explicitly forbid you from breaking instead of helping them with their gimmic.

You shouldnt be going out of your way to actively sabotage and damage the station as a slaved antag, without your masters specific command. Your goal is the same as your masters, and you should be listening to them, sticking by them, and helping them with their plans. Not doing your own thing.

As such, After getting some feedback from some other staff, I’ll be processing this ban appeal and reducing the ban time down from perma, to a few months.

Please do better in the future.

Appeal Proccessed

(Thought i should update on this, Ro didn’t edit the ban descriptions, I put an edit in for ya just now so it reflects the actual time.)
