It was a shitty gamemode that was hated by 99% of players and would also somehow break somewhere everytime it was played, and no coder likes this gamemode enough to fix it, and it was yet another conversion antag.

Eh, revs is a tiny bit better cause you have to be resourceful instead of just spawning stun lock uzis.
Also revs tend to fluke fast 
revs just turns into TDM really quickly where anyone who isnt mindshielded is valid
gangs is pretty much the same but at least cant mass convert within the first 2 minutes of the game so they need to be stealthier which is funner imo

You can buy multiple conversion pens during gangs and speed run.
it still takes longer relative to the 30 seconds it takes to flash everyone in the main hallways of rev
I honestly like that. Most of the rounds are tame in comparison, and the mayhem that happens on rev round is truly lovely. Only shitty thing about revs is the late game. Head revs and heads of staff start to hide, get fake id, run around in maint and drag the game out. Both sides should get items that allow them to locate leaders of enemy “team”. But i guess thats hard to code/balance.
Admin intervention and ERT’s exist for exactly that reason, Heads of Staff hiding and running away forever? send in a ERT to get them to Central Command to end the round.
the whole point of gangs was to solve this issue with revs by giving the gangs an independant round ending objective (dom) that was seperate from having to find actual players
I don’t mind gang being removed (altough i do mind deleting it from the code quite a bit), but i’m kind of confused that somehow jungle fever is still in rotation even on sage
yeah jungle fever is both shit and not fun due to being complete easy mode for the crew
