Appeal Reason: I don’t even remember playing on Beestation back in 2021. It’s the only ban I have ever gotten on SS13. I just want to get it struck from my record, also maybe get clarification as to why I got it? I understand if y’all don’t have that on record or the top of your heads, considering it’s been so long.
Well now I’m curious what the name was. Records show you’ve connected for seven rounds but didn’t stick around for any length of time.
The ban can be appealed but it won’t be stricken from the record entirely. You likely connected and cryo’d from a round with a name that didn’t match our species naming guidelines.
So, I connected to Sage, and the name I see is “Sabrina ‘Mothball’ Smith”. I randomized the moth names and I think I can see why that wouldn’t fit. I’m willing to bet what you’ve described is exactly what happened. I can be a bit skittish when I’m scoping out communities, and probably moved in / out of the round so fast the staff member couldn’t catch me before I left.
Seems pretty open and shut.
Just make sure you give the naming guidelines a once over before you make a new character, and maybe check the random names for inspiration sometimes.
