Oh one more thing, I’m assuming it’s the TM, but quite a few preferences that were on the preferences tab on the top right were now moved specifically to the new game preferences window. Which I think is nice and all, less clutter, but I do miss being able to quickly mute instruments when someone starts spamming despacito or some high pitch note over and over.
I’m no expert on design so this is just my personal opinion but it does seem worse, user-end wise, to now have to click on more buttons and have to scroll around looking for what I want instead of just looking at the right of my screen.
Could you add the tgui selection to wigs and chameleon gear?
I mean yes and also no. There’s a point where having too many buttons makes it straight up unusable. I could add a few more back
Quick question, when I was playing around with this, I noticed that my random name doesn’t change every round anymore. Where is the always random name toggle?
You have to hit the red dice thing and set it to always randomize, then the body and name randomization pop up. The random UI is something I didn’t touch from TG because I both hate and do not use it. The UX imo is not very good and I wasn’t really sure what to do with it

Do you mean the total window size or the font size?
For window size I believe it’s actually smaller than the old menu… so I don’t really know what to tell you there

Could we have a option to only spawn in as a Head if other people are also Heads? It is just painful being Head all solo and a good portion of new players shouldn’t risk being made Acting Captain so easily. I think I got Acting Captain on my third shift as a CMO. lol
Could be extended to give you a number of how many other Heads you wish to see. That way you could for example only play RD if you got a full squad of Command or perhaps only play CMO when you got at least two others in Command.
This isn’t possible as job selection is non-deterministic and based on things like antag status, other job availability, etc.
I just want to say that the new UI looks great!
I love finally being able to actually see what items look like in the beestore as well as it show up on my character’s preview too.
Not having more than three character slots is still stinky
There’s also the feature of being able to pick which lanuage you want to know with the multiligual BUT that’s not something I believe should be a priority at the moment!

That was the decision of Crossed, to promote people to support BYOND.
Do this people!!! byond doesn’t make a ton of money considering how many thousands of people regularly use it and the price for a membership is extremely cheap.

Yes, unfortunately this is just an Internet Explorer moment and there’s nothing I could find on how to fix this.
Make it a last check? Basically if we got one normal Head (nothing special), and A wants at least one head then promote them to a real Head so to say. Then B wants two Heads, so promote them too. But C wants 5 Heads, so they don’t get promoted and remain in their current role.
This is way too complicated for no reason.
Most command players just play command. I have never not played command because no one else is command. That’s just ridiculous
