Changes to the Guides category

Howdy howdy!

We’ve made a couple of changes to the #guides category to hopefully make it a bit more useful and easier to navigate.

Tags

We’ve added topic tags which will help quickly identify guides at a glance and to allow for added filtering in that category. Moving forward, new topics will require at least one tag before it can be posted.

We will be working to tag the existing guides as appropriately as possible. This will probably take a while though.

Edits Infinitum

Topics made within the #guides category will no longer become uneditable after a set amount of time. The OP of the thread will be able to make as many edits as they want without worry. This should allow authors of large guides to keep their work up-to-date if something changes a month down the line.

Voting

Users will be able to vote for helpful guides. This should help useful guides rise to the top while showing guide authors which of their works tend to receive the most attention. Votes will replace likes in the #guides category.
