How long have you been playing ss13?: Ive been on goonstation since around Earlyish 2020, cant embed, embed fail

Who vouches for your experience (if anyone)?: N/A, havenât bothered to ask
Game Experience (More Detailed):
I got interested in SS13 by a friend, joined goonstation at first, played there for a bit, had some good fun, learned some things. After goon kinda became a shitty place for me, joined beestation, on golden, eventually moved over to sage before golden was kill because of low pop and no bloodcult. I already cryo alot, and I may aswell help people. I know most jobs, mostly lacking in command because PTSD from playing command on golden. i dont really find it fun. Yell at me your questions or something, Iâm free on the weekends and after 2:30~ most of the weekdays.
Iâd be up for giving you a shot if you promised activity would be a guaranteed thing, answering mhelps as they come in etc also being active with questions in the discord.
Mostly because ive played well over 60~ days of SS13 straight on different codebases. Its somewhat difficult for SS13 to hold my attention for a while, but i find observeing to be fun and mostly stick around after i do cryo.
For a standard SM setup, you wanna.
-Replace all the pumps with volume pumps
-Connect Nitrogen canisters to the loop
-Make sure the bypass for the cold loop into the hot loop is removed
-Add plasma tanks to all 6 rad collectors
-Make sure the pumps for the space loop are either straightpiped (better), or enabled
-Set the air alarm to panic syphon
-Enable rad collectors if they arent already
-Enable emitters
-Set smesâs to max input, output can be left alone
-Done, now go wire solars incase of sm sabotage
Grows-The-Plants is good, he knows his stuff. But hereâs some freeform questions to prove your knowledge if you want to answer them of course
Youâre a clock cultist and you have a robotics setup on the ark, you decide to make some nice borgos. How do you make and convert a borg? What modules would you want early game and late game?
Whats the best chems to counter a slow acting explosive syringe? (One that heats and blows up in your body)
Youâre a traitor chemist and you find a gondala in maints, what can you do with it?
Youâre a traitor and your target is a competent xenobiologist, you have the whole round to kill them and no other objectives. You can assume they donât have any special equipment outside of what xeno can make. How would you go about killing them?
Youâre the cmo, there are revs and your the last head. You only have access to medical and only have a bit of time to prepare. What do you make and or get to protect yourself?
These questions are really freeform so you can do dumb creative solutions, I already know you know your stuff
Side Note (Fuck I put jestie instead of grows, shush I was talking to him)
Print positronic brains, and everything under the cyborg tab. Print 3 flashes, and draw the conversion rune wherever. Print powercells, charge them however, or steal them. Attach everything but the chest and the head to the endo. Add two flashes to the head, add it to the endoskeleton, add wire and the cell to the chest, and add it to the frame. Activate the posis if they havent already been, grab a multitool, open the borgs menu, enable the lockdown, then make the borg with the posibrain, and drag it over the rune
Put them on a cryobed. if that fails, Calomel or other purging chems, or something that cools the subject down
Plasmaflood the xenobio rune. Make bolas, shoot them with a stechkin. Dont get close to them, and run from anything that they throw at you.
If you have tools, disaemblee machines and take cable. Get iron from the lathe, and use it to build a bola, with cable restraints and 6 iron. Bolas are incredibly usefull for escaping. Your tele baton can knockdown, target legs â shove. Flash anyone who doesnt have flash protection. Other than that, run like hell, dont stand near people if they arent confirmed to be mindshielded
Boxtaâs answer seems to indicate an incomplete knowledge of how atmos works and gas within pipes. The SM is frequent for mhelps, especially during lowpop when there is perhaps just one newbie engineer.
That, and your medical hours leave something to be desired.
I will give you +0.5, because science can be overwhelming for some newbies, and you would be a great reference as a mentor.
But please develop your engineering and medical skills further.
You seriously donât expect people to remember entire xenobio, do you?
That is incorrect, questions about the SM never happen and there is a simple answer why: when SM is dying, you donât have time to wait for mentors to maybe answer.
(putting it here cause it may be several days/weeks before I come to forum again. I have been a mentor for 1,5 years and have like 700 hours in engineering and I possibly somewhat recall 1/2 mhelps regarding the engine (or none at all).
In conclusion: Doesnât matter, noone asks questions about it and there are better topics to âtestâ people who wanna be mentors.)
Any of the regenerative crossbreeds, or purple extracts.
Murder some spiders
Bungotoxin comes from the bungo tree plant, and deals high toxin damage
Make the ai core frame with plasteel, Wrench the frame, add Circuit, Add screwdriver, Optionally add core law modules, add a posi brain or a brain in a MMI, add Rglass, screwdriver

Questions from Spicy
Card them with a intelicard
Cloning, after dehusking; The skull icon means 15 minutes have passed since their death, and by any means cannot be defibbed
Space cleaner foam or smoke
Break the ore with a mining tool, smack it with a scanner, break it again
Give them anything that deals toxin damage, such as toxin.
Any of the regenerative crossbreeds, or purple extracts.
works
Murder some spiders
sure but a more practical solution is to shove some cotton in a loom
Bungotoxin comes from the bungo tree plant, and deals high toxin damage
gives you a stroke actually [deals heart dammage]. good lord if an oozeling gets this missinformation
Make the ai core frame with plasteel, Wrench the frame, add Circuit, Add screwdriver, Optionally add core law modules, add a posi brain or a brain in a MMI, add Rglass, screwdriver
good

yes
not perfect but who is. considering your other questions you get a +1
+1
I see you have a lot of hours in science too.
Hereâs some challenge questions you can answer for the hell of it:
How to deal brain damage as xenobiologist?
How to make CO2 SM?
Which item, made in the crafting menu, quintuples plasma?
An mhelp comes in containing âI need a guideâ. How do you respond?
Which features do you think make for a good and effective beneficial nanite setup? (This is a subjective question so I canât really say right or wrong to this)
