MRP Tempban - Removed the floor in the AI Sat breaking Law-1, Also then added anti breach shield projectors to the AI core room. Major powergame here. -Auth Kerbin

Appeal Reason:
I didnt respond to the ahelps because i was not there at the time the ticket was opened (visible as i was in a borg charger, not doing actions or communicating)

I placed the shields in the ai room to make sure the ai is safe, i forgot it was a power move to reinforce a maximum security area that comes with inbuild turrets. I didnt break law 1 as everyone who would have an appointment with the AI would be warned first to wear a hardsuit and everyone who would not have an appointment with the ai is most likely already wearing one.

It was my fault about the powergaming as i missed that part but i did not break law 1.

Additional Information:
A friendly reminder would have 100% sufficed aswell as asking me to remove it.

This is more of a difficult situation since, sure removing the floor wouldn’t harm anyone in there, but then in the same sense turning turrets to lethal wouldn’t harm anyone not meant to be in there, but if a crewmember does break in, then they could be harmed. (Them having to do something to not get harmed by your actions is bad).
As for powergaming, to me the AI would get around this via law 3 (protect your own existance), because powergaming allows you to protect yourself.
If it wasn’t for the making the room dangerous it would have been ok in my opinion (like if it was just making walls around the place).
obviously AI is hard to tell, since almost anything will kill someone in one way or another, so usually is best to check with admins on more ambiguous cases like this.
Also ignoring the ticket = automatic guilty assumption.

Anyway, I guess we need to see what Ro and other admins think

I agree with Bacon here but as for my opinion, the ban should either stay or be moved down to just an hour, hell, even removed.

You’re just tying to protect the AI and not trying to kill the whole station

yea actually, I see it was in good intentions and no one actually got harmed the round due to safety measures like the shuttles being down (and the fact everyone ran from the meteors blowing the place up).
@ro5490 is the cool important guy here, he holds the banning admin power :slight_smile:

I’m gonna remove the server ban early and drop the silicon ban to a day here.
