I don’t see the issue with them being cheaper than clothing. Clothing is just something you use to flex on people, races actually change how you play.
It’s like Mordhau. The cosmetics are just for flexing, and cost a lot, weapons are the actual changes to playstyle and are super cheap.

Races you can buy should be something rarer like slime which can make copy of itself, or skeleton that can idk spook people, both of them would cost a huge fortune you would have to grind, but it could be fun and beecoins would have a goal you can spend on.

In terms of adding price tags on races, the current races should not be taken away from us.
On the other hand, the new extra races could be something, but races such as vampire has proven it to us that people will break the game.
Another question would be, what type of golem would it be?

My idea for the rare species is that you have to pay a crazy amount of beecoins to unlock the race, 10,000 or more, and even after that, you need 1,000 every time you use the race.
This is why you don’t get to implement ideas.
Paying for the races that are free now is kinda off putting but having some exotic species be 10k beecoins or something like that seems a cool goal. If nothing you pay just to have some more fun after getting used to the basic mechanics. After so many hours some people might wanna do niche things and I think having some exotic species would help that.
Yeah, the main purpose of this is for players to get used to the core game mechanics before moving on to more complex things. I’m not trying to laugh in your guy’s faces and steal all your Beecoins, for I myself use the other races and absolutely hate having to pay for more. I only have ~4,000 BCs because I bought another Character slot. Why did I buy another character slot? For another character I can save that is a different race.
Many people can buy all, or most, of the races if this PR is merged. So there is no real problem. And as Xlyana said, “…as well as limiting character customization.”
That’s literally false. Limiting the customization would to be to remove them entirely. This still lets you acquire your static race while balancing the meta.
And on top of the normal races, we CAN add the exotic races, only if they’re really hard to get or are limited in their uses.
Stop crying that races shouldn’t be bought just because you’ll have your favorite race taken from you for 1.36 seconds. And stop crying about having to buy other races when most of you don’t even use the other races, ever.

The races that we currently have allow for player customization without affecting the game too much. As such, they should stay free.
The other races such as slimeperson simply cannot be roundstart races. Those races are for powergaming cucks like me, and that much of an advantage is unfair.
This whole thing lacks a purpose and is change for the sake of changing things. It should not be merged, and that fact that we even have to discuss about it is kinda sad.
