   Incident Description:

So i join the round as assistant, spawn in tool storage, take insuls
and toolbelt just as the round started Micheal Sagan comes and starts to shove me.
My first thought was that he was a shitter so i shove him back, however instead he
toolboxes me to death strips of my insuls, toolbelt and ID then spaces. Later revealed to
have been an IAA (no random killing as IAA and all that) and when asked why did he
murder me responded: “I liked your gloves”.

TLDR: IAA killed and spaced random assistant for insulated gloves.

defend themselves, eliminate witnesses, people that are in the way

how is random assistant with insuls that shoved you once any of these?

Getting fake ID, gloves and toolbelt is working towards my objectives.

you could have gotten gloves and toolbelt in other ways(engineering literally few steps away) than eliminating random people from the round shiftstart

Yes but fake IDs are always useful.
Take the L dude. Killing 1 person is not murderbone.

NGL, it’s a dick move but there’s no rule break here. IAA should keep extra casualties to a minimum, and take care not to cause mass destruction, but killing one person for an extra identity and some gear they’ve acquired is not excessive, especially for an assistant who would otherwise look sus almost anywhere they’re found that isn’t a main hallway.

I’ll leave this up for another opinion, but dying (even early on) is sometimes part of the game and that’s just the hand you get dealt.

This desperately needs to be removed from the red-text in game due to our policies and handling of IAA.

Killing a person or two with some sort of reasoning behind the killing isn’t murderboning.

Now if he just walked up to you and shot you without taking anything this would be different - but he did actually gain something of value from your death.

I agree with the post above. If he toolboxes and then just disposaled it would be unbased and likely note worthy.
This case appears was just very lame move, but insuls and an extra ID likely helped him get that objective complete.
The dets office is very easy to hack into from maint.
