Offender’s In-Game Name:
Don’t remember (AI)
Server (Sage or Acacia):
On a very lowpop round of about 15 crewmembers, Arbiter47 rolled Malf AI with a murderbone objective.
I don’t recall them talking once. I went to do toxins, which I completed around the 12 minute mark. I noticed a delay in the intercom announcing points from the explosion, at which point I realized comms had been blown the entire time.
The instant I arrived back at the R&D lobby to do research, the AI detonated every single piece of equipment around me (research console, prolathe, etc). I am assuming they noticed my existence because of the bomb, as my sensors were off (unintentionally), and turned their attention towards ending me next.
I was quick enough to run down to maintenance and avoid the explosion (with the AI detonating even more machines on the hallway down as I ran), but trying to leave maints back to the station only rewarded me with a shocked door almost putting me into crit.
I spent a few minutes afterwords trying to escape maintenance. Around 20-24 or so minutes into the round, the AI simply went delta, having apparently already killed enough of the manifest to do so unchallenged.
Due to the AI blowing comms very early in the round, I have no idea how many people the AI actually killed. I made it out on the exploration shuttle, so I did not get to observe, but judging from OOC chatter, the AI did not talk once, and only wordlessly murderboned the entire station.
While murderbone objectives exist, rule 1.2 seems to be a catch-all against poor antagonist conduct like this. Malf AI is an incredibly strong antagonist, and opting to wordlessly erase as many crewmembers as you can, as quickly as you can, against an extremely lowpop round that has no chance of fighting back against you, is pretty shitty antagonist conduct that I hope has no place on this server.
