Appeal Reason: There was never a ‘minibomb’ in my inventory, there was never a minibomb in my hand. There wasn’t even a minibomb item showing on the location of it’s detonation, which was centered around the brig physician. I remember exactly I was running and trying to steal the janitor cart, and the brig physitian was right behind me. we pass bar, beeping starts so I think that the janitor might have primed a cleaner grenade, I take him off the cart, hop on it and a bomb that only damages 3x3 tiles detonates. The only logs shown at all to me in the accusation was a log that could not have happened without me knowing, which was somehow an item called ‘syndicate minibomb’ being activated by myself while 100% I can confirm I had no way to spawn said item, as I am currently antag banned until tomorrow.
Additional Information: check all logs to see where the syndicate minibomb was spawned, where it was picked up and how, my good man, was it that I primed it, yet didn’t show any logs of me throwing it to back up your claim without either A: foul play at work on admin spawns or B: Someone utilizing my character name to perform an action. I want to know WHY your logs said that Elder Things primed a syndicate minibomb yet no records of dropping, throwing or even picking up.
Admins didn’t spawn bombs that round as that would be major bus.

If you come across obvious syndicate explosives your first reaction should be either to tell security, or to take it to them, not press the red button.

Tell me in full detail where I got the object, how it was that I primed it WHILE eating a banana, or admit that you do not wish to admit fault for lack of information and pushing a ban that isn’t even credible. I DEMAND you show proof of me picking up a syndicate minibomb, or have you hand over the investigation so it can be properly handled to figure out where the HELL a minibomb came from while I was eating a banana.
Hell, even show IF I THREW THE DAMN THING OR DROPPED IT. Because little Aeder, How is it (get this) HOW IS IT THAT I PRIMED A BOMB, DIDN’T THROW IT, AND DIDN’T TAKE A SINGLE TICK OF DAMAGE FROM PREPORTABLY NOT EVEN THROWING THE BOMB AWAY? How is it that I walk over a tile, somehow get tagged as priming a minibomb while eating a banana (because 1 hour, 22 minutes, 45 seconds 061 fractions of a second and 1 hour, 22 minutes, 45 seconds and 060 fractions are only a literal 001 fraction of a second apart) and yet the only one injured is the brig physitian that walks over the same tile. Now neatly -NEATLY- tell me how this is my fault over something I was completely unaware of, had already been called out as a bomb attack by someone else, and in the process seconds after it’s detonation of YOU coming and bwoinking me for said action that I had in that first response, showed in full nature that I had no idea of it’s occurance.
Pro-tip for all your aspiring gamers out there looking to appeal a ban. The second you devolve into using ALL CAPS as a form of communication is the moment you give up and say, “You know what? I don’t want this appeal looked at fairly. I want to agro the admin and force a confrontation that wont go my way.”

What can be noted from this is that you primed the bomb here, Central Primary Hallway (126, 130, 2) and then ~5 seconds later the bomb exploded here Central Primary Hallway (125, 125, 2). Attack logs do not provide information on if something is dropped.

Now, the important thing to also note from all the above is the size of the explosion, (1, 2, 4, 2). This is very small. You could easily have walked away into maintenance (which it looks like you did as shown above) without taking any damage. Here is a gif showing what an explosion of that size would look like.

Now then, we’ve established the correct size of the explosion, as that was about the blast seen when I hopped on the janitor’s ride. The damage being the top 3 tiles spaced, middle left and middle right being lattice, the bottom being space (roughly the view from memory).
Now the following needs to be examined:
How this
and this happened in the same moment, is this a bug? Did me eating a banana make me SHIT OUT A SYNDICATE BOMB with what I would like to add is the weakest syndicate minibomb I have ever seen. Please, by all means, compare the blast of a real syndicate minibomb to that of the explosion in question, I’m pretty sure their destruction is at least 2x as big, though I don’t normally use minibombs unless it’s a holdout bomb on LRP if I wanna murderbone after my objectives are done (which is still rare)
Secondly, the location of the explosion was right beside the bar, as I was at the corner area while jacking the janitor’s ride (Simply clicked him off it and hopped on) . From there I zoomed my way away from the area. Your logs show action 838: me throwing a banana peel 839: [Missing log] 840: Somehow shocking a door without having interacted with it, likely from the explosion damaging the door but still odd. 841: Same as 840, but to the door beside it leading to maint (I think, as it was on the station where the bar and theater are to the right of captain’s office and to the left of engineering).
Lastly, I want to know exactly where the bomb came into existence, because if it came into existence AT THE POINT AND TIME I ATE A BANANA, then what we’re dealing with is a bug in the code, NOT A WILLFUL ACTIVATION OF A BOMB. You keep thinking that for some reason or other, that bugs don’t exist.

That looks EXACTLY like a bug. A BANANA IS NOT A SYNDICATE MINIBOMB. At least, not unless someone fucks with the banana’s code or some shit. Only thing I can think of would be something like the bananas fired from a honk-ops mech. And honestly, it’s kind of weird to find a banana in the middle of the hallway opposite of where a banana lamp is spawned after a clown stunt of calling a pen found near the mime to be a syndicate uplink.
There WERE admin spawned items on the map, so pardon if I presume that there was admin fuckery involved, but until I know exactly where the item was spawned, because there are no natural spawns of syndicate minibombs on ANY STATION, and my antag ban was still in place at this time so I had 0 means in which to obtain said syndicate minibomb without admin fuckery.
So, please show the logs of anything dealing with a syndicate minibomb PRIOR to the ‘priming’, it’s really, really fishy that I, a clown who had been running around on a ‘pimping ride’, having the ride taken by the brig physician, going and chasing down the ride again, had SOMEHOW gotten ahold of an item strictly named ‘Syndicate Minibomb’ and primed it by eating a banana.
In response to the explosion itself, there is something I’d like to add. I tested the blasts of a syndicate minibomb, and tested one with the spawn bomb tool. On the bottom is the Syndicate Minibomb, and on the top is the tested explosion. The same size, so it is likely that the bomb itself was a Minibomb.
The shown explosion was likely so weak because he placed it next to some reinforced walls. I do 100% agree with you however, as eating a banana, then instantly priming a minibomb as a nonantag is very, very strange. Just spitting some clarification.

Since the only way I know you can get this item is from a clown op uplink, this is almost certainly admin screwery. I will look into this now.

Ah then it is entirely my fault and I can only apologise, sorry.
The AI complained that nobody thanked them for thwarting something ingame in the previous round, I can’t remember exactly what, so I gave them a cookie for good work.
The clown was praying the whole game for syndicate telecrystals and an unlocked PDA, and I like to answer prayers whenever I can. So I believed I spawned a banana for them, but clearly fucked up when looking for banana bread / snacks. I don’t play clown and had no idea there is an explosive banana that you can eat that explodes. As I said in ghosts I was having trouble seeing the whole line of the variable and could only see up to what I thought was /banana, not seing the ending /bombbanana. The lamp was also in response the repeated prayers.
