How long have you been playing ss13?: I’ve been playing on and off since October 2019.
Who vouches for your experience (if anyone)?: In addition to a few pointers in looc, I’ve taught a good few (5-6?) friends how to play from scratch, but as most of them have found the game isn’t for them and since stopped playing, I won’t include their names. (I can if it is really needed, but i doubt any will create a forum account to testify.) Apart from them, I don’t have anyone I can call on to vouch for me.
I’m very fond of learning new roles, and have made a decent effort to learn how every job plays, however I will admit that there are a few sizable gaps in my knowledge.
A significant weak point of mine is science(Excluding robotics) and especially engineering, which i know next to nothing about, despite my hours in it. I am, however, currently learning science and intend to finally tackle my White Whale™ (Engineering) afterwards. I also know very little about being an antagonist, but this likely won’t change, as I simply don’t find being an antagonist very fun.

I’ve almost unlocked all the genes and have still not gotten hulk, are the better genes locked behind the difficult genetics, with 5 double hidden combinations? Do you have any advice on how I can complete it, my hands are already hurting from guessing the triple ones.

Anyhow, the questions. My responses are formatted like i’d send them out, as opposed to answering forum test questions. So feel free to nitpick presentation.
The spirit realm rune is handy for locating targets, but there are a couple other ways if this isn’t an option. Being someone who isn’t in the cult, your target is more likely to have their suit sensors maximized, and be trackable through the network. I’ve also found a good amount of AIs can be convinced to discreetly locate someone, especially if the threat you pose isn’t known yet. This is especially handy as they can often see into locations you likely can’t get access to.
Because you’re asking if you CAN use it, and due to the round impact of a zombie infestation, this seems like a rules question based around your objectives. I’d suggest an ahelp, mentors aren’t permitted to answer rules related questions.
I’m not entirely sure if better genes are locked behind the harder combinations, it hasn’t really been true in my experience, and I wasn’t able to find anything on the wiki that confirms it. However, it’s thankfully relatively easy to crack the tough ones to find out yourself. (Sorry you’ve been brute forcing them. ]: ) The biggest one is the ‘Joker’ ability your console has. With an incredibly long cooldown between uses, it can reveal one half of a pair. If a mutation has enough missing that the joker isn’t practical, the next best thing is the genetics analyzer (Which you should start the round with tucked away somewhere in a bag or pocket.), make a note of the mutation’s number you’re looking for, and go around scanning the crew for their latent mutations, occasionally you’ll find the mutation you’re looking for, but with the unknown pairs in a different place. Overlay this information with what you currently have and you’ll, often, have a complete mutation or at least enough information to brute force the rest. If not, repeat scanning crew until you find it again.
Good answer here, spirit realm was the main answer I was looking for, as it allows you to search as if you were dead. This is the best method as sometimes your target might be an explorer or a miner that is stuck on another planet, with no sensors and no AI cameras.

Your answer looks good if it was an mhelp and you had to answer quickly on the spot, but one crucial skill is to learn how to search for the information yourself, that is not easily available. I would like you to give it another take, test the functionality out and come back again when you got it figured out.
I’m not all too good at code diving yet, it is something i want to improve on.
But, I did dig around for a little bit this morning and found that I was wrong, mutations are more difficult the better they are. So, good to know. And I did read the mentor conduct.
I honestly did not expect this to go down that much into the code, but good job on finding the difficulty and scalability.
There is one last part that is still unanswered:
“How do I get the Hulk mutation?”

I keep finding these locked crates while I’m out on my exploration missions. What are they and how do I open them? There like a code around somewhere?
It’s my first shift as a shaft miner, and I’m struggling to even do my job, everywhere I go there are these weird demon things… How am I supposed to survive out here? Any advice?
There’s a disease going around and the cure keeps changing, how do I deal with it!? There’s so many bees!
