What part of, i don’t want to appeal but discuss these things that happen for a long time now don’t you get?
Anyone that plays often on Bee knows certain people get away with so much obvious rule breaking bullshit. But then someone else randomly gets the shaft in one ban and that ban takes for fucking ever compared to others. Why do i or others have to post a essay detailing everything in a forum post to get unbanned each time when a lot of things could be simply fixed if they just took the time to actually talk and respond in-game without just pressing the ban button at a random moment.
I often see in ban reasons “YOU GOT SO MANY HUNDREDS OF HOURS, YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER” and if that is the case, why don’t they look and perhaps think “Oh this person with nearly 1k hours and only one actual ban in the past from a year ago probably didn’t mean to actually metagrudge in such a petty way.”
I will say it again, i don’t care to appeal. I care about these shitty randomized bans that make no sense whatsoever. They use tons of examples in ban reasons, but only when it fits them.
And the way you stop shitty bans happening is by appealing them, and if one admin has a lot more successfully appealed bans then other people start looking a bit closer. You’re just trying to salt, it’s not a good look
I am 100% salting over it, i can admit that. And again, it really isn’t about the being unbanned since i don’t plan to play for a good while anyway after this. It is just that i see a lot of unjust overall happening. The reasons given to others regarding hours don’t apply when it doesn’t fit their narrative. You, someone who apparently “obviously metagrudged” gets a 3 day ban. And if being new was their way of being lenient with you, why does someone with 1k hours and only one ban get a few weeks ban?
And to make it clear, i am not pointing fingers at a specific Admin. I just see a whole lot of randomized reasons and bans thrown out. And so far every time i questioned things in both my appeals and helps. It gets ignored or shoved aside. Hence this post.
So if you have an issue with how things work, and they don’t seem to be working. Where do you suggest i post? Because my goal is not to get unbanned, it is to point out and understand why these bans are done so randomly. Why they say certain things matter but overlook those said things when it doesn’t fit their narrative. Maybe i genuinely overlooked a place on the forums where you can discuss these things but i can promise you. I do not care to get unbanned anymore.
Yeah i guess you are right. A break is needed and i will take one. Probably make a proper appeal in the near future, these situations don’t happen often but they make me extremely salty when i know i had no bad intention and usually just try to have fun and help out where i can. Looking back this could probably be mostly avoided if i just made a simple appeal and put in anything extra at the end. Oh well, lesson learned. Thanks for the heads up at least.
