Ban Reason: attacked a chaplain who didn’t attack anyone
Appeal Reason: This is one of those “it’s a dangerous space station with wizards that spawned guns and people using them, it’s SS13 and you die” situations when 3-4 random people on the shuttle had pulse rifle, sec rifle, etc and shot at each other.
I was defending myself, then just started fighting back by picking up a pulse rifle to take down a guy with a sec rifle, then attacked a few others. I must have attacked the chaplain or something at some point. Regardless, I hope you realize it was one of those super messy situations, if you want to ban me for a day and not those other people, then it’s completely unreasonable.
I was fighting back at people, in the sense that there 3-4 people on shuttle attacking everything, it was pure chaos, with the addition of botany’s killer mushrooms. I did not deliberately go up to the chaplain and target/murder them, it was specifically just trying to fight off people in my vicinity, the chaplain being collateral damage.
This is a stain on my record that I hope you understand is unreasonable, seeing as it was one of those chaotic shuttle ends where most people had guns and 3-4 people shot each other.
Additional Information:
Admin has poor perspective and only sees it from the Chaplain’s point of view. If this was any other round with less chaos, my actions would not be reasonable, however, given the circumstances, I did not specifically target the Chaplain, it was a total brawl with people getting hurt (including myself) and should be considered from a different perspective - I was just shooting at people around me who were attacking things and mistook the Chaplain as one of the 3-4 who started the fight.
