This did occur and is unusually out of character for me. I didn’t know the ban alert was sent if a ticket wasn’t active and I also knew the captain was about to have a scuffle with security because the HoS had just been authorized to overthrow the captain after making contact with CentCom about the issue.
Additionally, I’d just taken part in your unbanning, so I already knew about your extensive history despite having played only 38 hours and gotten 12 notes (now 13). There wasn’t much justification for what you did as a captain on a Greenshift either.

You flat out told me you didn’t even re-read the rules, claiming they didn’t load for you, but you got right over to the forums that now hosts your ban appeal immediately after the ban was given.
TL;DR for others: Just off of a perma ban, doesn’t read rules, breaks rules, gets banned again. Not even full ban, but head ban.

We can’t catch everyone because we can’t observe everyone at the same time. In the case of both of your bans tonight you were reported and I happened to be on to look into those reports.
No instead I got reports of a captain trying to get his crew executed for no reason. The crew then went mutiny on the captain.
This is a player that has caused a major problem once for every three hours of play and received a well deserved ban for their actions before. Upon returning the server, the player did not bother checking the rules and ignored a large red notification about the server having special rules on joining. Then player immediately breaks RP rules as a captain, doing something almost identical to one of their pre-permaban notes. I banned them from head roles until they can show they know how to follow rules so they have less influence on the rounds for now - And the very next round they killed a clown fresh out of cloning because the clown had pushed them into disposals.
This player is on their final warning before getting another full permanent ban from the server, and due to their actions in the following round and still failing to read the rules after this ban, I don’t plan on lifting this for some time unless another admin wants to overrule me. (which is the only reason this thread is still open)
After reading through your notes Its seems pretty fair to keep the ban in place.

Number one, I don’t think Ruko has the privilege to vote on bans they have done, correct me if I’m wrong I don’t know how being an admin works here, second off, people kill cats and liggers all the time, I see no issue with racial genocide.
I also think the holocaust was the best thing to happen to humans since hentai.
Disclaimer: The holocaust was a tragedy, and was only better than Brexit but that isn’t saying much.

I do actually. I proposed the system be adjusted so that ban appeals always be handled by an admin that isn’t the one that applied the ban, but current system in place is that the banning admin is usually given final say unless directly overridden for reasons relating to admin misconduct or a gross misunderstanding. That proposal has been lost in limbo at some point though.
I also do seek opinions from other admins, both before banning and after appeal, but I’m not allowed to share anything from admin channels/boards. It’s up to them to post here themselves if they have meaningful input.
