I cannot believe that I got banned for letting the clown do genetics in Golden Lowpop Additional Information:
The Clown wanted to genetics because we had no geneticist and I let him do it. And the reason of slapping,I slap random people for funnies.
First of all The CMO was so incompetent that he was not able to revive a lizard and I did his job for him,thats why I didnt listen to him.Second of all,I authorized the clown’s request to do genetics because we were missing a GENETICIST. Sorry about the SOP (Sorry about my bad english)
I mean if the CMO was an incompetent the captain can demote them…
Ignoring them is fine too.
Oh and the captain has no SOP limitations on giving jobs… While its generally assumed they have to follow HOP SOP they in reality do not.
To top this off… SOP is flexible and does not need to be followed word for word.
Oh and technically everyone is under the authority of the captain so they can promote/demote as they please within reason.
So this is like, the fourth time the story changed. Every time I ask I get a different answer, whic is why I feel like you’re blowing smoke up my ass.

Where in the rules does it say this?
If your head of staff is incompetent I expect you as a Captain to demote them. Incompetency in leadership positions breeds disaster.
This is terrible for a captain even on Golden, but what Archanial said is also true.
Banning for not following SOP doesn’t make sense for Golden, but command banning a captain who actively rewards tiding and disruptive play is perfectly fine.
Captain is still responsible for the station at large on LRP.
Unlike the HoP the captain also does possess authority over the other heads. That doesn’t mean what happened with giving clown access wasn’t questionable, but he’s not wrong about the CMO answering to him and his authority.
At the advice of the other admins the game ban has been lifted, and the command ban has been appealed. You make me regret this on the last 48 hours of Golden’s existence and I’ll be fairly disappointed. Remember to treat those under you better than you would like to be treated and you will be revered as a great leader.
