Its gotta be soap. One time I was an ashwalker and I was raiding the lavaland syndie base for supplies when the comms agent found me and started shooting me. I fled into the maint and tried to slip him with a soap, but I accidentally slipped myself. The comms agent went in for the kill with his esword but he also slipped on the same bit of soap. I picked up his sword and finished him off.

he asked for the best, syringe gun is situational and requires you have access to chem dispenser. all of the ones mentioned are meant to be easy to get and strong.
Syringe gun is strong as hell but it requires chems to use.

they added in a mini-botany chem dispenser to appease the botnist mains. However, rarely will anyone steal the rd console and circuit imprinter boards
I would say Syringe gun fits here. It is easy to get too. With some even scattered across maintenance. If Syringe gun didn’t count, lube wouldn’t count either
I’ve never been part of the tide to try, but I thought it was the norm to jack the chem dispenser board and thought it wasn’t that hard to get chem access because of the spare board.

Saying grenades are robust is like saying science bombs are robust. Sure they can win you the fight pretty easily but at what cost?
You need to be pretty handy with nades to make one that’s both effective enough to take someone down before they run away from it but not so effective that you either hit yourself or get in trouble for blowing a massive hole in the station or hitting too many additional players.
