Rules Broken: R2 (No powergaming), R9 (Do not self-antag), Clown SOP (points 1 & 3)
Incident Description:
During this round, Plasma Fire, a clown, somehow obtained AA (according to other observers it was from the HoP) and used it to become a rival captain (there was a captain, Vince Randolph on station). The primary area of concern was, upon hearing of a potential xenomorph threat to the station, Plasma Fire ordered quite literally every weapon and piece of security equipment cargo is capable of ordering, and took the initiative to arm the crew at large. The acquisition of AA and ordering of mass quantities of weaponry seems like it could fall under R2, and the distribution of weapons to the crew would appear to be a R9 break at first glance.
Additional Information:
Other observers in deadchat mentioned seeing this particular clown obtain AA and act in head roles in numerous previous rounds as well and suggested a metagang may be in place to facilitate this.
The OOC logs at the end of the round are worth looking at as well, there were allegations of said player using a glitch to produce infinite money in cargo.
At one point as Katrina, I was given over 200k credits by a cake cat.
I was keeki this round, when I went to the bridge to check things out, the clown did indeed give me a credit chip for 1M or 10M(didnt count it, just alotta zeros),clown said his bank account had an e in it. As a cake cat has no need for money I gave it to the one who helped make me, Katrina, later on the clown gave me a crazy bike to ride, and was distributing weapons at cargo. attached is the OOC logs for end of round
altough it looks pretty bad for the clown, in rounds before when he used the bug he did buy like pets or bikes with it so he didnt abuse it all the time for his advantage if this may make it a bit better for him

Xenos happens, clown order a LOT of gear (far too much to post those logs here, suffice to say, nukies + xenos + culties would go touch grass in Dchat against this amount of bikes and gun( I’m only slightly exaggerating.))
Clown also bribe the HOP for cap’ level of access…le sigh…

The clown was using an exploit and powergaming. They were going around the cap’ to do his job.
Exploit abuse is BAD, especially when done for powergaming purposes like this, trying to do the cap’ work is not that bad next to it…
