Incident Description: I was the clown this round, and my gimmick was going around and stealing peoples’ shoes. People understandably got mad IC at me, but that was all handled IC. However, I stole the shoes of a janitor, who chased me into the theatre backstage after breaking the windoor to get in after I closed the airlock to block entry. I further attempted to prevent entry by placing a banana in front of the windoor, which the janitor pushed away. I had not fought back the entire time, and was simply trying to do my job/gimmick. This could have been an interesting situation, but the janitor attacked me with a broom multiple times. I ran away into maints to both get away and hide the shoes and a little later I came back, hoping the janitor left the way they came. They had not, and proceeded to further hit me with the broom. After I informed them in LOOC that their actions were against escalation policy, they picked up a shard from the broken windoor and threw it at me, then picked it up and stabbed me. I tried to get away again, which is when they finally left.
Additional Information: I did not fight back past shoving them out the theatre backstage door so I could close it in front of them after they attacked me.
