Rules Broken: 8 Do not grief? 1 You Must Roleplay (failed to follow space law)
Incident Description:
I was killing an explorer’s pet turkey because my IC character couldn’t have any way except for it to relieve her anger since she, the insane VIP, was taken to the station by explorers who crited me because I didn’t agree to go with them.
A security officer, Amber, saw that killing the turkey and shoot me with a disabler and made me stam-crit to cuff, and took me to the perma-hallway to strip then dressed me in a prisoner’s suit. I was yelling to them shitcurity and they had no authority to do that (There was no other than the officer, no warden even.)
I couldn’t make any actual harm to people (except that I had to make someone crit who stole my sabre), considering my situation at my side, I don’t think I’ve made anything to make the officer overescalate to disable me either any reason to strip my character which is enough to be compared to perma. They didn’t even ask and It was green alert.
EDIT: and they took me to the officer’s room in the shuttle, and then LOOC there.

When I was cuffed, the shuttle was to arrive in a minute, they directly brought me to the brig and sriped, and dressed me in a prisoner’s suit. According to them, it is to escort me for serving in CC. Since the shuttle was going to depart, they left all stuff behind, and put me in the shuttle officer room as cuffed. I couldn’t get my stuff back in that status, of course, as well as the stuff was behind us, and the shift was ended as me in the shuttle room.
What I am pointing is
It was Green
They only saw killing a turkey, not an actual harm.
They didn’t ask me why I did that - go stamcrit directly. Didn’t ask me for the crime investigation.
They stripped me even there and dressed me in a prisoner’s suit.
And the space law has a bolded line for that.
DoNOTfully strip the prisoner unless they have earned a permanent sentence.
Edit: also, the stuff was still in the brig locker, but she didn’t take it to the shuttle.
I believe this is a first time to RP with them and I believe they are fine, but I could accept this as IC issue unless it was overdone. I can accept at 1~3 parts, but the wiki even says Don’t do that in bold, which is obviously not good.
Some quick notes. Currently, there are no procedures on the Space Law page on what to do with prisoners whose sentence would overlap with the emergency shuttle leaving, given the fact that Amber was the only member of security dealing with the VIP, in my opinion, the procedure would be up to Amber, within reason.

Having looked over the logs and context… In all honesty, I do not believe that Amber was acting in bad faith here, except for the LOOC and the fullstripping, at most. As stated before, there is no prodecdure on what to do with prisoners whose timers would overlap with the shuttle leaving. As the only member of security who responded and handled the VIP, I think this is still within bounds. The reason Amber immediately disabled the VIP is because I’d say that a saber is contraband, whether it be the one of the VIP of the one of the captain.
For now, I’m marking this as rejected. However, I will bring up the lack of procedure in Space Law to higher-ups.
