A lot of new players are ramming in from the recent ss13 streams. This could be the chance to get a lot of new players. But we are bunkered from what i hear. Why would we do that? I understand that the tide will render the server unplayable for like 4 days but imagine all the new players we would get. I came from ssethtide, and from personal experience i tell you that i stayed where i first came to for a very long time. The only thing that brought me over from tg was better ping, initially. If we are to lose our moment now, we may not get it later. So whaddya think?

The more players the better. They should be welcomed with open arms and encouraged to share the hobby.

The tomato stream was playing on gooncode, and not even goonstation received any notable influx of new players yet.
I don’t think twitch viewers actually play the games they watch.

That was like 1-2 days ago and I was told it was rshoe doing the griff
And it only lasted for a few hours on that particular day.
But I seem to stand corrected, goonstation does now have quite a lot more players than they did yesterday!
