Incident Description: My first interaction with Varo this round was when he came to Engineering asking for “a full set of advanced tools” (including an RPD), which the atmospheric technician and I clearly denied. We also told him to leave, as he was being quite annoying.
Later, he continued provoking me (since I was the most vocal in denying his request) and kept trying to obtain the tools. At some point, he managed to grab an RPD and immediately sent me a PDA message telling me to “suck his dick” and boasting about acquiring an RPD just to provoke me.
I ignored him and chose not to engage, but Varo remained upset with me. While slipping people with lube, he deliberately targeted me, stole my BSRPED—filled with expensive tier 4 parts I was using to upgrade the station—and threw it into a nearby trash bin. I simply sighed and walked away.
The clown was also committing multiple crimes and being rude to nearly everyone, with no entertainment value gained from his actions. Additionally, he repeatedly used race-based fictional slurs against synthetics (since my character was an IPC). While fictional racism is allowed as a roleplay tool, the way Varo used it felt unnecessary and crossed the line.
In summary, I believe Varo acted maliciously, using the clown role as an excuse to borderline self-antag and harass others for his own enjoyment of the chaos. That said, this is just my perspective, and I kindly ask that an admin review the logs. If any questions arise, feel free to ask, and I’ll respond promptly.
IC issue (I wanted those for a disposal related prank in the hallways that I ended up doing)
IC issue, I sent you a photo of me next to a RPD laughing at you with a lot of “SUCK MY DICK” copypasted, but still, IC issue, I was not being salty towards you the player or anything I was taunting you, the character, which is something completely fine within the rules as I was not displaying OOC behaviour OR insulting YOU the player
IC issue, contact security, go to cargo and retrieve them. I slipped tons of people that round and you were another victim whom I already had a reason to prank on. Not a rulebreak, not somethign that fucked up your round. Walk this distance and retrieve them

Untrue, we had one HECK of a fight in medbay that was so fun and when I cryo’d someone said that the fun was over now that I was leaving, I did entertain people that round and had tons of good, flavor RP, I sent trollfaces from the bridge fax machine, I got tortured by Sydney for doing crimes with being forcedfed chillis, I printed posters of a moth with an afro as a prank, I did tons of fun stuff
You only say this because the AI stated that on comms. M.A.X was helicoptering me hard that round and reported and bitched about every single small thing I did, while sec or the people above would not care that much.
I called you a CLANKER dude, get a grip, IC issue, report to the authorities or insult me back. Unless you are not a robotic chasis IRL, you should not get this offended.

This is not Habbo Hotel, this is not Club Penguin, this is not a chat room. Conflict occurs in this game and you should accept IC conflict will hapen and it does not exceed normal insults or hinders your entire round you should try to manage IC, as it happens IRL. You should not expect conflict to occur only from antagonists doing major things to do, you encounter annoying people you have to deal IRL with and you do not get a magic button to call someone to ban them. OF COURSE, if I overextended, I like, clearly insulted you OOC or was toxic, ruined your round, did something that clearly broke the rules or was out of was considered acceptable dude, ofc, that’s out of what’s acceptable, but you can’t be reporting people that are mean to your character or have small conflicts, you and I had like 4-5 minutes total of conflict in a round that extended like almost 2 hours.
CMO from that round here. He did entertain us a lot in medbay, we had fun fights, and him specifically targeting you while slipping people with lube is completely false, you didn’t see what my man was doin here. If the clown is disrupting your work, you should report it to security. None of my doctors raised any issues with the clown, so I did not take action to throw him out of here until it was necessary for a moment. All of this is an IC issue really, and if you find these frustrating to deal with, you gotta tell them LOOC instead of expecting players to tell apart roleplay from actual frustration, now if they keep doing that afterwards I’d agree it’s harassment.
conflict is one thing but that just seems combative and abusive… regardless of your actions it seems like you were trying to be a dick about it OOC.

This is just your own opinion, I was taunting them. They were being anti-fun IC, we interchanged words, they ended up punching me and later I told them that later on. I was being provocative and taunting them, I was not trying to actually bother or make the player behind the character feel bad
As I said, I did not recall their character being Horizon. I did not act with malice I just did not know it was them, I forgot that was their character’s name, I’ve only interacted with it in one round prior to this ocassion and forgot the name

Alright, I’m gonna step in here and say a bit @Varo
In the previous report I sided on IC issue because there was nothing specifically targeted happening and the clown shenanigans were pretty mild without crossing or even really approaching the line.
This is nothing like the last report, based on your statements alone (I have not log verified) it sounds like you went out of your way to instigate and harass @Mimi throughout the round. It’s one thing if a conflict goes back and forth but it’s another when you are actively seeking conflict repeatedly with another, specific player
This is the kind of behavior we discussed privately a few months back that make you a bad clown sometimes. I believe you that some crew was entertained, but the way you not only talk OOC to and about those who were clearly not entertained and actively trying to stop or disengage with you, but also how you continually try to push the situation into a more serious conflict IC is not a good look.
You can’t always please everyone but you should not be going out of your way to repeatedly harass and provoke players, even IC, if they are showing signs they don’t want to be part of the schtick.
I’m won’t make a final decision on this until I see the logs, but @Varo are you willing to make a feedback thread for your clown shenanigans so players can openly share both their praise and frustrations with your antics?
You can be a better clown if players have a place to give you feedback about what they like and what they dislike. I’m worried you may be falling victim to confirmation bias from friends and shutting people who try to give you negative feedback without really processing it.
No this is not true at all. You are getting it wrong. I’m right now at class and low on laptop battery, In less than 3 hours I will be able to clarify what you just said and give my side of the story better, I’d like if you waited for me before proceeding with this report cuz you are in a completely different point regarding my intentions and actions
Your intentions matter less than your actions in a case like this unfortunately. It doesn’t have to be intentional to be repeated instigation and provocation.

Well you are claiming I was targetting and harrasing a specific player despite the fact I’ve stated thrice now that that was not the case so I’d like to clarify what actually happened, cuz what you are saying is not what happened
To offer what little insight I can, I was there when Varo trashed the BSRPED. Varo was throwing any nearby personnel into his conveyor belt contraption, and eventually one of the engineers reversed it so it no longer made you go into the chute. It was then that Mimi happened by, and when Varo trashed it. I didn’t know about anything that happened beforehand, but that interaction seemed like it was more so just a replacement for throwing Mimi into the contraption if it was still working.
I wasn’t there for anything else, just that part, so I’m afraid I can’t really comment any further. Sorry if this wasn’t all that helpful.
Varo looked at me and said: “look, the clanker” (analog for a racist slur) then threw lube at me and shoved me to make me fall. After shoving me he grabbed my brped and threw it in the trash.
No I just had that atmos thing that throws reagents in 3 tiles wide area filled to the gills with lube and used it to slip them just like I did with everyobody else. I did trash their BSRPED but I do not think that’s something particularly horrible to do to somebody

Just so it’s clear: I’m not saying that you are racist in real life. Im saying that it’s fucked up to make your character consistently racist for no roleplay reason other than maybe annoyance.
Alright , let’s do this. First of all, let’s make some stuff clear.
1.- I did not remember Mimi was Horizon.
2.- The pranks I did on Mimi were all IC and I had IC reasons to do them, I did not try to hinder this person’s round in any meaningfull way
First interaction: I went into engineer and called for engineers to talk to them. I asked for tools, got them denied and conflict arises (started by me by calling them a clanker), but nothing too bad. I hanged around the red area for a while trying to convince them, Sydney (secoff) came, I chased them with a water flower and then I kept trying to convince any of the engineering stuff to give me a RPD. I did not try to break and enter nor did I do any big tresspass. At some point I stood on the door and at some point I did enter to the yellow square, but it was only because someone moved me while walking into the same tile as me. But overall, the worst thing I did was:
Calling someone an IC insult
Being annoying
If you want to be super literal, breaking in by walking one tile
During this exchanges, I received a punch by Horizon and we ended up not in good terms, so we had already some IC grudge between us.
Second interaction: I convince one of the other engineering stuff to get me an RPD, and I felt like rubbing it off in Horizon’s face. So I came to cargo and took a picture around this area and sent it to them with 2 messages: ‘SUCK MY DICK’ (repeated a lot of times) and ‘I GOT ONE’. After that, we did not interact anymore in a long long time. I did not try to search them and have vengeance, I did not try to humilliate them or taunt them more messages. From a clown. Saying something childish. A minor, 5 minute crime. 2 messages and then they did not receive any communication by my side until a long time passed and we met again in our final interaction.
On this hallway, I found my round’s archnemesis. Talking to the captain. And I had an atmos backpack with a lot of lube. I slipped them, I saw they had a BSRED and I saw it was full of stuff and I flushed it. The consequence of this would’ve been taking a 20 seconds detour from your routine to collect the stuff again.
Let’s keep in mind all of this happened during the lenght of an entire round, separated in time, Between second and third interaction a LONG, LONG TIME passed. Security was on the station, there was a captain and there was means to stop me. I strongly believe this is an IC issue as I did not metagrudge no one, I did not try to ruin someone elses round and I did not do anything to them that was above a 5-10 minute crime, and we only had 3 small conflicts. I insulted them with IC terms, taunted them by telling them to suck my dick and then slipped them and flushed some stuff they had. All of that in a greenshift +1:30 h round. I do not think I deserve any punishment for my actions as they were all IC stuff and the worst thing I did was saying “SUCK MY DICK” a lot of times, with no real bad intentions or trying to make someone feel bad. Just saying “Hahahahaha! I got it! You lose!”.
Anyways. I will keep in mind from now on who Horizon is and avoid annoying them as they are not very fond of my pranks and It does not pain to me to say sorry that it bothere you what I did, but I do not belive this should go beyond IC issues that could have been resolved, once again, IC.
Was the disposals conveyer in the mail room turn on? If it and the conveyer in maintenance was on then it turns the 20 second detour into a five minute detour and a lot of resources down the drain.
I’m not sure if it’s fair to blame Varo if it was because it’s pretty clear that he either knew it was off or assumed recklessly that it was off. Either way it seems more like Varo being reckless and not thinking before acting rather than doing it maliciously.
I didn’t say it was, I’m just saying here if the contraption was still working, I feel like you would’ve thrown them in it instead of doing what you did. So it wasn’t really a targeted interaction in my opinion, just your original plan was kaput. But I don’t know. I left to follow the Captain right after. I’m just giving my two cents about what I think happened.
