Again, I was the captain. The guy had his flash out and he kept moving towards me, so i knew he was about to try something. Seeing as how he was disguised as an assistant, I thought he was one, so I booked it and took out my laser gun to stun him so I could get security. Unfortunately I accidentally smacked him a single time, so the sec borg who saw the whole thing tied me up and left me alone with him. (also a wtf moment).

perhaps instead of neutral I was more willing to aid the detective in his mutiny, but I wasnt willing to iniate combat to do so, because ICly I agreed with him. He gave me 200 credits and I told him I wouldnt snitch, its the extent of my involvement as well as stopping you from hanging him.

just because it’s “IC” (which it wasn’t, you wanted revenge irl) doesn’t mean it’s okay to self-antag. IC is for finding a different way to resolve a problem than “assist a guy in killing the person I don’t like”
But officer, I didn’t pull the trigger, I simply let the killer into the victim’s house after he said he wanted to commit a murder, and then broke the killer out of jail, that’s all, and all right after the victim pissed me off. I’m a neutral party in all this, I swear!
What about breaking him out of jail? What about helping him turn the majority of sec against the HoS by corroborating? What about trying to clone him, failing, ordering botany to clone him, failing, then breaking his dead body out of a locker in the locker room of sec and cloning him much later?

I meant the HoS, my bad. Regardless I didnt want to see him dead, I didnt know who killed the cap at this point and wasnt sure if it was a setup or not, me and the detective had hung out and built up a IC relationship within that round though, so I felt inclined to help him.

Guy was a co-conspirator with the det, got paid 200 caps to keep quiet, and kept aiding the det by freeing him from sec multiple times, as well as helping him chase the HoS and corroberating his story so that sec would rebell, literally tried to force botany to pod clone him

I asked botany, someone pulled the corpse away from me then I gave up.
your complaint against me essentially boils down to;
I didnt know he killed you, it was a ling round. When I saw him being executed I thought he had been framed for your murder, so I non-violently freed him by just grabbing and running. He later got recaptured and executed, I tried to (unsucsessfully) clone him later. Sure, other people like the AI where saying he was a murderer, but the AI themselves could have been subverted, or a ling could have used there ID
At no point did I shoot, threaten or self antag, I was acting with IC infomation and making the right calls at the time from what I knew.
You order sec to stand down. They say, you aren’t our boss. Then you say something like, “I’m theirs” essentially trying to use your power to force a podding when there were 2 sec officers standing outside botany.
I didn’t attack you though.

Detective in question has already has already been given a lengthy ban for issues that occurred after this round, so I’ve only noted this rounds occurrence for them. It will weigh against them if/when they cause issues again.
Head of Personell’s handling of the clown has already been dealt with, and the mutiny situation is equal parts potentially shitter and potentially IC. He tried to ask via ahelp if he could join the mutiny, and most of what he did wasn’t nearly as bad as what the detective did so I’m going to go ahead and rule this as IC.
I do have a stern warning for @mcrideinspace - you’ve got quite a history I wasn’t really aware of before looking at this report. While I’ve ruled this one IC, you should really consider carefully what you’re doing when you take a command role on the station. You’re dangerously close to self-antag/subversion here even if I’ve taken your side in the end, and you seem to toe that line frequently.
