Fun fact, i was playing ss13 way before i started playing warhammer 40k, and had no idea the techpriest robe was adeptus mechanicus easter egg. I remember being very, very confused when people would roleplay as martian techpriests back on fulp, trying to aug everyone and ranting about how flesh was weak and undesirable.

Other way around for me. Started playing SS13 with the ssethtide but played warhammer 40.000 already since 2009. So robotics instantly won my heart, a big part of that being the easter egg suits.

Being a transhumanist irl, this warms my (still) fleshy heart.
Sadly we are still a few decades away from mechanical organs and body parts that outperform our biological parts in every way. But upgrading ourselves is a cause everyone should support. We can be improved.
