Absolute bruh moment, they demote my man for the tamest leak ever, and when he tries to speak out they go full KGB and silence him, I knew bee was going down in a downward spiral, and I knew I wasn’t going to be the one to save it, but fuck is bee screwed. I used to wonder genuinely why there were so many bee spite servers, but I think I figured it out, it’s because bee truly is something to be spiteful against. I frankly couldn’t give a shit at this point what happens, the reign of terror from Mega the achat leaker is done, I’m just making this post as a courtesy for my boy Tennessee and all the others in the past wbl have been bonked by glorious leader crossed and genuine shadow government dictator Ike, neither of which give a rat’s ass about lrp or it’s players, as evidently shown by Tennessee’s post before it got deleted a nanosecond after it was posted. I am not doing this to make anyone look bad or seem like a bad person, do I think Crossed is a megalomaniac and wants to see the world burn? No, but I dont think he should have as much control over the server as he does. But bee isn’t a democracy, this has been made clear, so this post will change nothing in the long run. To end this, what I assume will be my last forums post, I’d like to give a few tips to people who have been thinking about becoming an admin:
If you main lrp, don’t even think about it, I used to think this was a joke but it ironically is not
Remember that you’re always on a quote as a trialmin, 100 tickets in a month, if you aren’t a good worker bee they have no place for you
If you think it’s going to be fun to solve tickets and help players, it absolutely isn’t
The smallest slip ups could get you demoted within the blink of an eye, as represented by Tennessee leaking a meme of all things and getting fucked
That’s pretty much it, if this doesn’t get instantly deleted hopefully some people actually see it and realize that the whole “bee is doomed” shit isn’t really a joke, and if it does I guess in the end I really do have my answer to whether bee can be fixed, and admemes can finally start taking criticism and revert from the current police state it is to what it was pre first filter, or if bee is genuinely fucked
He leaked even more shit, literally it isn’t that hard to not leak things. Even though it was just a meme it betrayed the trust of the admin team, also he had even more screen shots and leaked even more things so people on that mindset of going against the admin team isn’t a good fit to be a trailmin to begin with and further showed that demoting him was the right choice.
Leaks of any nature, even mundane things, have never been tolerated unless all of the people involved are asked permission. And anything sensitive being run by a headmin.
This has always been admin policy.
I’d get in trouble for leaking an admin’s tea preferences if they talked about it in a staff channel and I didn’t ask them.
Before the Kev incident, right when we made our changes to remove hate speech I was the target of a lot of harassment, since I wrote the announcement for that (even though it was a group decision). People were, and still are, trying to Dox me, there were false accusations against my image, and in general there were a lot of personal attacks against me. During this time, I was pretty demotivated due to IRL stuff and this just really added onto that. I had to take a step back to ask myself if it was all worth it; I heavily considered branching off and starting my own thing. But, ultimately I decided against it and opted to push through it all and to try and make Bee the best I can make it. Which, is why we’re talking about it now and why you didn’t hear about me leaving the project.
Eeehh, I think that can be debated on. I’ve talked with Ruko about this before, it was something which we considered bringing up during a staff meeting; but, ultimately decided against it. I was fine with him entrusting that context to admins if needed. Although, the key phrase there is entrust. Something that Tennessee opted to break in an effort to lash out.
Edit: To be clear, I don’t really mind talking about it as a general thing. But we opted to keep it internal just because it’s a bit of a bummer and I didn’t really want it to kill the general vibe or the overall morale
No no no, Even if Mega is my friend on any server leaking anything from admin chat is punishable. I’ve seen admins demoted for that shit when I was an admin.
