I was looking at it more from the sense of “how would a real space station be arranged?”
And putting equipment that medical needs in the medbay makes sense to me.
(Assuming it was required to be located in one specific area instead of distributed for redundancy and more through coverage)
I think for me as a data gathering thing it makes sense to be tcomms since it already deals with communications and data already. Both make sense tbh
