I think I’m done with ss13 coding, and attempting to make changes really, As long as the community is happy, then I’m happy.

Why do you want to be a moderator?:
Pretty much the same reasons as before, Seen a lot less admin activity on Sage since I hopped back on so I’m down to cover when people arent online. Also, I love answering prayers because they never seem to get answered <3

On a scale of 1-10, how skilled are you in SS13?:
I’d like to think I’ve improved, so maybe 9? but so much has changed so probably more like a 7 currently.
On a scale of 1-10, how skilled are you as an administrator? (this can include past games):
I’d say roughly 8-9 ish, depending on how much has changed to admin commands and such. I also currently have given a total of 328 bans on beestation ^-^

Your strengths:
Years of experience dealing with SS13 and other Admin stuff, Observer only rounds are my regular, I work pretty well under pressure and learn rather quickly when introduced to something new and put my mind to it. Plus I’ve already spent a decent chunk of time as an admin for bee. I also seem to be online when there aren’t any moderators on, so thats a plus.
Your weaknesses:
I might be a bit too lax sometimes, and I tend to overthink things a bit much and occasionally bwoink people when they havent been doing anything wrong due to not having checked if they’re antag or not.

Is there anything that gets you really mad, real fast?:
Having to repeat myself over and over, but other than that I’m pretty desensatized to most things.
What do you think is the most important trait for a staff member to have?:
Patience and Understanding. Being able to have good communication skills is also a major plus as you’ll be in contact with people a lot while doing the job.
What makes a staff team good?:
Good communication, Teamwork, and Trust in eachother. If you cant work together while things are being really hard or stressful then its not a good team.
What is a staff team’s purpose?:
Making sure the community is appeased, the rules are followed, and the peace is kept.
What kind of player are you?:
Very laid back, I’ll usually end up as RD, HoP, or AI, just overseeing things and letting things play out.
How do you think you will change once you become a staff member?:
I probably wont be too different, just a couple more hours observing than I usually do.
The clown slips the HoS and steals his gun, spacing it right after. What do you do?:
Oh boy these questions need a rework, They’ve been the same since 2020 at least…
This would be an IC issue if its a regular disabler or e-gun or similar, however if its the HoS’s unique gun it would be self-antag. In which case I would locate the item, check if its a current objective target, and if so, teleport it back to the HoS’s locker.
A non-antagonist is sabotaging the Atmospherics loop and pumping plasma into the distro, along with dragging around a canister and releasing it into the atmosphere. Assuming that an admin is cleaning up the after-effects, how do you conduct the ahelp with him?:
100% Grief, If the other admin has already taken the ticket I would help with clean-up, and send the person in question to admin-prison so they cant continue to be an issue.
If the other admin would like me to handle the ticket, I’d TP the griefer to prison, then ask why They’d sabotage atmos and cause a plasmaflood as a non-antag, any previous notes about similar things would be checked as well and ban-time would be adjusted based on their responses.
A chemist who is working alone accidentally mixes an explosive mixture inside of his chem dispenser, instantly killing himself and destroying the machine, along with exposing Chemistry to space. Nobody else was injured aside from him as a result of his actions. What do you do?:
IC Issue, Hopefully engineering has their shit together for once and patches the hole though. I’d message the chemist and see how new they are, and direct them to the chemistry wiki page for extra guidance.
For those wondering, I left last time due to an extended absence from duties, I lost interest in ss13 and kinda just dropped off the radar. I might have mentioned it in admin-chat but that would have been almost a full year back.
