Hate speech naturally would involve the slurs that go along with such groups of people. Also, Bee is not Discord, so while we have to enforce Discord ToS on the Discord server, we are free to expand upon such. So the Discord ToS is really just a forced starting point but in no way an end point.

If the majority of players were discontent they would have left. There are other places that are less restrictive than they could go to but they didnât. The majority has chosen to stay and we still have an extremely successful SS13 community. The political beliefs of the people of Bee are actually very varied. For example, Kev the former owner until recently is a personal freedom heavy socialist, while I myself am a right-wing authoritarian. Despite these extreme differences, it has never once caused conflict between us beyond healthy political and respectful debate. Iâm not entirely sure of anyone elseâs political stances. Itâs never really come up and no matter where we stand politically it doesnât mean we shouldnât work together to do what is clearly the right thing.
Avoidance, ignoring the obvious, and attempting to escape the conversation hoping bias from others makes you appear right.
Again the steady popularity of Bee speaks for itself. Nor is this a democracy, it never has been and it isnât now. Doing what is right should always take priority over anything else. This has worked out very well for Bee and if you are discontent to this point you are free to move onto TG which you appear to enjoy more.

Things were just fine before.
The rules were made because of some shitty discord tos changes and tweet from ss13 account. I donât believe administration intents are honest and the rules unironically caused more racism outbreaks.

Iâm just going to lay this out in a fairly simple manner and then Iâm going to close this topic because itâs going nowhere good fast.
The rules are set. Weâre not changing them. If you really have some insatiable need to say the n-word or some other hateful language, go do it somewhere else. We donât want that here and weâre not going to lighten up on it.
