   Incident Description: As a non-antag dragged around an ''anomalous crystal'' that made everybody that speak near it a clown, i joined quite late into the shift so there were a lot of clown dead bodies from other players so might need to do a log search to see the all the affected.
   Additional Information: They told me that an antag brought the crystal to the station, but no idea how it ended up in the hands of the reported player.

I, a greyshit, sussed out it’s effect which had already claimed several including myself
when you spoke near it, it dropped all your gear, changed your name to a random clown one, and gave you roundstart clown gear.
I figured this was a minor inconvenience at best, and was at this point considering myself a clown, with a license for funny.
I dragged the crystal behind me and said hello to people. When they said hello back, the crystal activated, causing them to drop all their gear and become a clown. Never once did i so much as touch the dropped gear, let alone use it for myself.

I was USING in game mechaincs to mildly inconvencience people, accountable to a worse slip. Possibly the worst part here was a forced name change making people unable to discern who was talking on comms, but never once was this a problem during the round, as far as I saw.
As for rule eight, I thought this was funny. Just turning people to clowns for five minutes, until they changed their clothes back.
Any beating, lynching, or random murder was neither caused or encouraged by me, I just walked around, as a clown, and honked people.

@RDS88 - brought this up with other admins in discord and there’s pretty much unanimous consensus that this was fine as a one-off occurrence. The fact it changes your identity is a problem (as already established) but otherwise the prank is suitable for a clown. It’s also agreed that you do gain a license for funny when getting transformed into a clown.

Funny clown gimmick, potential for more harm than intended, just don’t do it again :slight_smile:
