Pro miner tip: ask the AI to unbolt one of the doors and you can walk through the airlock without the wait, or venting the base to lavaland or giving easy access to lavaland spawns. Also reminds you to turn on your suit sensors.
Assistants (and clowns) are the beating heart and soul of ss13. The wild greysuit is a noble creature who deserves to roam in its natural habitat of maints unimpeded. I never report an assistant without access hacking into maints to security. Generally I donât mind it when assistants do gimmicks instead of assisting some department. Stuff like rage cages and shops are lovely. Iâve tried being a department assistant and usually I just get in the way, most jobs donât need much if any assistance anyway.
Iâm not excusing tiding or self antaging, but personally I like my assistants free range.
edit: I now have a gimmick idea >:)
It was industry standard at that time really, I donât know which game from that time you would be comparing it to.
At least the FF franchise did work to try and move away from stale turn based combat, unlike someâŚ
I played 5 minutes of final fantasy and it wasnât very good, donât ask me which one of the 30 of them it was
âHugh Jassâ and âMike Coxlongâ?
Ahelp them for an RP break.
Itâs a pretty blatantly unreasonable action to take IC, and is done purely with OOC minmax motivations. Only bad miners interested in rushing as fast as possible do this.
Is this post bait or a genuine hot take? Nobody knows!
There is NO middle ground.
I am either cremating or chatting in bar.
Itâs neither. Itâs just true.
@WhereAmI.
I too greatly despise miners breaking the glass and got into contact with the maintainer of the Lavaland base.
Upgrades to prevent this are coming.
Turret that kills any miner that destroys the windows? Glad to hear it!
You know what? Screw it.
Antags most often barely add anything to the ongoing round, and merely serve as outlets for people seeking a pvp experience in a hugbox and free environment. Every single interaction I had with an antag was me trying my best to stay in character while facing a League of Legends player. Regardless of the player, or their hours, or their record on the server.
The added insult to injury is that most of these players arenât even honest about what they seek while playing antag, pretending that they are roleplaying or meshing into stories, when all they want is to win or do the safest thing conceivable in the round.
I see more consistent engaging stories while bussing when no antags are involved. If youâre an antag and you arenât in character, or not interested by that. Please for your sanity and my own, go play a moba or an actual space that focuses on PVP
NGL, every time I roll antag as Kalavi, I try to figure out how to be stealthy and also do my job.
You should try to actually pursue what Kalavi would pursue.
trying to keep his job and going home without a reaming for taking a syndie job is the objective usually, Iâm not robust enough as a Tot to get away with stupid gimicks yet.
though one does come to mind.
Oh god donât even get me started with Pokemon, itâs probably the true reason I fine it so hard to get into these jrpgs in the first place.
At least FF had stories to kind of keep you going, Pokemon has nothing.
This person has never played generation 5 smh smh
Nah, generation 5 might have had the âbestâ story of pokemon but it still wasnât especially good.
Pokemon is fun for the strategy to me, but thatâs entirely against other players now as they continue to water down the difficulty of the story itself.
Thatâs fair, though I do think Gen 5 was a step in the correct direction, story-wise. Sadly it seems theyâre
no longer going in that direction with the franchise.
Why is the changeling called a reference to the thing when itâs clearly more of a reference to Alex murser from prototype
