Don’t forget the Exploration kitchen! The one which generates on derelict stations. Then we have the random Exploration maps which has maps like the hotel, restaurant and probably like ten others which I’ve forgotten!
Then let’s not forget the kitchen on the Syndicate Outpost, which I did improve and fix on a PR I’ve made, but it relies on Xenoarch to be merged…
Then there is probably some maintenance kitchens which could use some extra things?

Remove the directional windows around the life stasis beds and make it a tad more barren, it shouldn’t be perfect on round-start.
I think this kitchen needs some improvements. Its too tight on some places and that oven in the midle straight doesn’t makes sense. 2 deepfryers and 2 microwaves are not needed. One is a machine that heats donk pockets and the other is straight useless since they removed the fun and you can’t either eat deepfried items or make them stop working. So you got 4 borderline useless machines in your kitchen already.
You’d be better off trying to adapt the kitchen to hold a 2 man crew and removing unnecesary stuff. Something like this. My version ain’t perfect either, but it would be much more easier to navigate around. Go wild. You need to focus on making Pubby playeable for today’s standards. Good luck!
Show this to medbay players and they will probably tell you 2. 1 is just a nightmare of railings and dir windows. And that storage room is fever inducing- Take 2, make this rectangle a single improved room and you got a tight yet functional medbay without the nonsense of the 1.

i improved the Kitchen and currently see’ing about improving both medbay variants cuz admitidly V1 is very barebonds since i didnt spend much time on it, in other news this is the link thingy GitHub - cursedkiller/BeeStation-PubbyProject: 99.95% station. 0.05% bees

Actually having two microwaves it’s kind of neat, with the upcoming Newfood Microwave component pr it comes in handy since there are other foods other than donkpocket that get used
(Eventually all of these kitchens will need to be remapped to include an Oven and a Stove anyways hehe some maps i’ve seen on TG/Nova even have two ovens-stove)
Plus upgraded microwaves greatly increase the healing / fullness of food too if I recall. A donkpocket or two can make you fat with a fully upgraded microwave
Does the kitchen have a sink?
For option 1, it might be better for the sleepers should be moved away from the stasis units.
I personally love option 1 with its cleaner semi open halls but it seems so extremely far from the entrance to the stasis unit area and seems abit confusing when entering (south facing entrance > Turn and go west > Turn and go north to finally see the medbay stasis area).
Maybe you can shuffle some things around in that area.
Aside from that medical looks awesome.
Oh if possible, more glass floors, grass and mini terrariums like Rad station.
I love these in stations, they’re very pretty to look at and see.
i took a small break but seems option 1 won, This is the current up-to-date version with a nerfed medbay and slightly shifted features, people are still wary about the sec office so ill see how it fits later,
This can be done better, that long horizontal hallway must go and that treatment center shouldnt have those tables and railings and dir windows
I personally like the direction windows, it will stop people who hang in medbay accidentally bumping into you mid surgery. However, I’d be interested in seeing if they’re more detrimental than I initially believe
