Please make EU admins

Then… Don’t become an admin and stay as a moderator which have exclusively in-game perms and no forum responsibilities.

Hold on we need to wheel out the admin cloner.

Ah yes let us CREATE more people who are willing to dedicate time and energy moderating

Still need to handle reports in-game. Unless I can do it in an interesting way like setting up a team of bounty hunters and or a court case. Meh.

Perms and responsibilities are a package deal, separating them is a terrible idea.

I laughed so hard, thank you taylor

Eh. While this is true in my experience, it really doesn’t diminish what Ruko was getting at.
A lot of the time our tickets are completely unrelated to one another. Sure, getting on and banning Joe McGreyTide might stop someone else from tiding in with him, just like how stopping someone from instigating a random riot might stop other people from joining - both of which may lead to more tickets. However, It wouldn’t do anything to prevent someone else from running around with an invalid name, or for using a bit of netspeak, or any number of other issues.

As an example, there’s been quite a few times where I’ve seen an adminhelp ping and have 20 or so minutes to spare, then I take a look at the relay channel and see 4+ completely unrelated tickets. Those tickets could potentially take upwards of an hour to resolve depending on their complexity, not to mention that there’s nothing stopping more tickets from being made in the meantime. We all have stuff going on, it’s not always going to be possible for one of us to get on, and it’s rarely ‘real quick’ if we do.

The only real solution, as always, is to just have more Admins. Tragically that’s far easier said than done.

Taylor Solutions. Lynching people since round 44833 (probably earlier)
This is how we do it with cargo gang:

I just let my food go cold because answering one ping let to dealing with 5 unrelated issues. This is the biggest barrier that keeps adminhelp pings from being answered at times.

Queue the Rick and Morty template with the caption “quick adminhelp ping, let’s jump in and out, 5 min resolve time”
“45 min later”

This is more of a general response to what I’ve seen people comment in this thread rather than the post itself

Then encourage more EU people to apply. When I first was a admin in 20’ I was a college student who played the game a unhealthy amount, but it allowed me to be online a good chunk of the day. Today, I’m now graduated and on the hunt to start my career all while the veterinary industry is slowly draining my soul most days. I’d love to be able to be more active but this is, after all, volunteer work and I believe a good admin has a healthy IRL-game separation.

I’ve done this before a few times, and what was suppose to be a quick 3 minute ban on a griefer often turns into a hour because I get a flood of tickets coming in from people realizing a admin is online and I feel bad leaving even if I really only had time for that one greifer.

So at the end of the day, if you’re a EU player who’s frustrated at the lack of EU admins and have good hours/history why not become a admin yourself?

Right, where’s the cloner? And which admin are we cloning?

TG has it clearly. They don’t prune inactive admins so they have a fuck ton on their list.

Let’s procreate to raise more admins!

Make me admin and never inactivity demote me and I will save beestation then vanish 6 months before appearing again to save it again!

I’ve been tempted to apply for moderator in the past, but I feel I dont understand some mechanics well enough. Also I have friends who play Bee and i dont wanna be biased.

I’m an American however, so EU would remain unloved Mwahahahaha
