wait did someone just say league
Mobas do actually become bearable when you duo with somebody to be fair
Huge rant about Frackin' Universe creator
Or, if you can find enjoyment in them, support the other mod authors because FU creator is one of the most colossally shitty people Iāve ever had the displeasure of talking/working with. Extremely malicious and deceptive behind the scenes: Someone who steals code without credit from mod authors seeking help, ensures that mods stay incompatible with FU just to be petty, and intentionally goes out of their way to chase people away from modding.
My direct experience with FU was having him voluntarily reach out to help me with my mod, and it took me a couple of weeks to realize he was intentionally feeding me blatantly incorrect information while belittling me for not undersranding him because he didnāt want my mod competing with FU.
Azure Fang picked up managing my starbound mods when I left.
As for recommendations I donāt already see:
Elder Scrolls Online is pretty good for playing with a friend and doesnāt have a sub requirement like most quality MMOs. It also doesnāt force you into full size groups for group content, and in fact most non-raids can be comfortably duoād with good coordination, synergy and decent gear.
And to echo those already mentioned:
- Starbound
- Stardew Valley
- Battleblock Theatre
- Donāt Starve Together (not my personal jam, but all my friends absolutely love it)
i would play btd6 if all my progress wasnāt wiped
Most I wanted to post were already mentioned so
Raft
Knightfall
and maybe enter the gungeon but thats really pushing it
Portal 2
The Binding of Issac (needs steam couch play)
Postal 2 (needs nickās coop mod and hamatchi)
Blood and Bacon (less than a dollar, itās stupid fun pig killing)
No More Room in Hell (has a dedicated suicide button as a gameplay mechanic so epic)
Dungeon Defenders 2 (I played this to death years ago no clue how it is now but free)
Killing Floor 1 (or 2 but I prefer 1)
Postal Redux (more than two people recommended due to sheer enemy numbers, AI allies bug out on one level)
Enter the Gungeon (needs steam couch play)
Halo Campaign, also Halo Custom games.
Not sure why the strong reaction tbh. The two complaints Iāve heard most are about toxicity and sweatiness - but if you like competitive PvP games like I do then there isnāt more in this than any other popular shooter, card battler, whatever Dead by Daylight is, etc.
Hard disagree.
Competitive communities are often toxic, but not always. I like competitive games and avoid most of the largest ones because the companies are too cowardly to take action on anything but the most egregious offenses unless comitted by a streamer.
I asked for CoOp games.
I listed coop games Iāve been playing. I put it in the title. If I wanted competitive team based games Iād have asked for those.
This wasnāt and isnāt general game recommendations , this is a very focused genre Iām looking for recommendations in.
Again, I have to recommend astroneer. Itās a really fun open world game. You can play it with up to 4 people, too. Great soundtrack, and a really great feel in general.
Another recommendation I have is Sea of Thieves, which you may or may not have heard of before. Itās an open world multiplayer game, and you can play with up to 4 people on your crew. Your objective ranges from fighting other pirates to finding treasure, or even all the way to capturing and securing animals to sell to merchants.
I feel a little silly on this one. I was literally playing it with said friends the other day.
Please god dont go benjamin in coop and get everyone in crippling debt
What I can recommend is Rain World once the new update drops (or with Jolly Co Op Mod)
Bot detected. Ban he
Alva is just my FFXIV character so iām allowed to post the FFXIV copy pasta
barony
I would agree, but its local co-op only, not online co-op
OH NOOOOOOO
This is a clear body sentence.
