Powergaming via possession of mech? Yeah. All three of you were powergaming from the start, together for that matter. Round start occurred at 1:50:55 according to the logs, but lags a few seconds as it loads everyone into their bodies, this is how the three of you started the round.

All of you are completely full of it and have no ground to stand on trying to come up with RP motivations after the fact. You played this round entirely OOC from what I see between you in the entire round. I came to this thread expecting to side against @Kasual based on the arguments I was seeing, but the logs have convinced me he’s not only in the right but the ban should be extended to include both @pinkblossom6 and @TheNeoGamer42 as well. You all joined and played like you were the only players that existed/mattered pretty much the entire round, including rushing all the supplies you needed to ignore the station. I know I’ve bwoinked and noted @pinkblossom6 for this exact situation before.

As for subverting chain of command for OOC reason? Yep, definitely. All of you are subject to chain of command as low(ish) leveled employees.

TL;DR

I fully agree with Kasual and would go as far as to say the ban should be extended to the others involved in the situation as everyone in this group is guilty of the same thing. Go host your own server if you are going to play as a tight-knit group and blow off the rest of the station. No RP occurred at all from any of you this round, from what I could see.

Roboticist building a mech is not a problem. The game is based around being a research facility. Anything that is in line with your job as long as it is kept within the department and not used negatively against the station is okay.

A roboticist piloting around a combat mech through the halls when there is no threat to the station or need for it is a problem.

this might be a false alarm as well, event that is happening quite often. As for mechs, robo, and other people, having durand/gygax/phazon equipped with lethal weaponry should be considered powergaming, as they are not allowed to bear arms.

Edit: Having a mech with weaponry that allows you to kill half of the station is somewhat equal to a person having 3/4 eguns and other stuff, this is not accepted and bannable on MRP, why making Durands and using them shouldn’t be?

HOS from that round, (I think) Gonna chime in with my perspective:
I was a late arrival so I had no idea there was a lot of ping ponging before. I was trying to get a handle on sec because of how badly they acted (they literally perma-ed a guy naked for stealing a single weapon one time) when a bunch of stuff happened such as a massive hole right into brig through one of the cells with no mats to fix it, and the botanist having blown up when I fed him the wheat he had to prove it was dangerous (not the best idea, got bwoinked and apparently having wheat like that is ok for some reason? i’ve never played bot so idk) so there was no bed in the one working cell, and with all the shitters about, and al the chaos, I did not feel SEC had anywhere near a good grasp on things whatsoever, and with the brig broke, there was no way to punish shitters at that point, so I called.

Unfortunatley it kept gettig recalled so trying to call it made me valid? Because somebody broke into the AI, made me non-crew, and had the AI kill me? And when the HOP helped and I ahelped it apparently I was valid?

I could add that all of engi except for the CE that shift were being shitters, they tried to steal the ORM and when the QM took it back they depowered cargo.
