At the start of the week i, was given two options to either leave council on my own or be yeeted, why? Said i feel ashamed i dont wanna be council/ bee is shit semi ironically out of spite of the events that have been adressed here.i was said to be “bad” when the other candidate accepted that he would abuse power in his council app, the headmins where lied to about what i have said by caecelious words, what makes me believe this was nothing but silencing me for disageeeing/wanting a different candidate and i am rather pissed.

You almost always type like this.
We’ve already had this discussion, but since you seem to be desperate for attention I guess we’re set for a round two.
You were given the choice to step down if you wanted. I made it pretty clear that you weren’t going to be staying on council regardless. I felt that giving you the option to step down amicably would be a kind gesture for an overall sucky situation. You freely chose to not do that, and instead have been trying to spin things to fit your personal narrative.
As for why you were removed… While acting as a representative of the community, you constantly tried to steer discussions towards yourself. Which, by itself is whatever. Then, when people didn’t listen, you turned towards shitting on the project and council as a whole just for a bit of clout. This was brought up by multiple people in the community and even some of your peers. This obviously isn’t super becoming of a community representative.
To add to this, you took private information that was provided in good faith, and twisted it to try and serve yet another personal narrative. Which, showed us that you couldn’t be trusted with any privileged information. While it doesn’t happen often, we do occasionally share internal information to give context to certain past rulings, or, to explain why aspects of the project are as they are. We also ask that discussions had within the council channels are kept private unless they get consent to share bits of information. We do this to try and protect anyone in council who might be playing devil’s advocate and to generally try and create an atmosphere of trust between staff and player representatives. Having someone actively using information gained from council in bad faith is just another major strike against you.
Ultimately, after multiple complaints and your extremely poor conduct as a representative of the community- you were asked to step down.
This is yet another ridiculous claim. If we wanted to silence you, then we would have just fully removed you. Not only that, but I would would have made a concerted effort to discredit you in the announcement following your removal. Instead, I kept it generic and we freely let you say what you wanted to say post removal. We even let you maintain your status as mentor.
Speaking personally, I’m all for having differing opinions on council. The more the better. That’s how you get new perspectives on things and can usually help create better policies. But, there’s a major difference between providing constructive criticism and going out of your way to stir up drama for seemingly no reason. The latter of which is what you opted to do.
Bruh when did i stir council discusions to miself.
Yes as i said i was told to either step down or be removed from council.
The “twisted information” was telling soneone that brands didnt like bee and it was one of the factors for the filter.
I don’t like Kate but who can decide to just remove elected council members with no process? The ‘asked to resign’ shit just makes it look shady, if you’re gonna just decide to axe somebody you could at least own up to it instead of trying to whitewash.
Nobody cares about saving face for disgraced staff lol. Admins get fired all the time.
it’s in god’s hands now
They were asked if they wanted to leave/step down amicably. Which would also give them a potential to possibly reapply for the position later down the line. They chose to reject that offer, which is totally fine too. Like I said in my post, I made it clear they were out. There was no “whitewashing.”
Yeah, only corporate suits think ‘resign or be fired’ is a generous offer.
Being offered a chance to keep things friendly between parties and to possibly return is, in my humble opinion, a bit better than saying that you’re barred from coming back. But I suppose that might just be me and I’ll accept that point of criticism.
The reason it’s not generous is because it is an attempt to save face for both the ‘company’ and the ‘employee’. You make the offer because you want to remove someone, but you don’t want them causing any drama. So you tell them to shut up and peacefully quit so there isn’t a shitstorm, or you blackball them.
That isn’t generous, it’s sociopathic. Admins aren’t offered the ‘opportunity’ to resign so they look good when they fuck up either, because we know that removing shit admins is the correct thing to do.
I think you’re projecting a bit here. This isn’t a firing of an employee and it’s not some corporate nonsense. The key word I keep using is amicably
. My intention was to provide a friendly parting between parties, that’s it.
Actually, there are multiple cases I can think of that admins are offered an amicable departure. Sometimes things just don’t work out. It doesn’t help anyone for us to try and actively discredit them, especially if their offenses are overall very minor. (I.e. If they can’t be active and fall short of their responsibilities, we’d offer them an amicable departure.)
This is starting to get off topic though, so I’ll end it there.
In no moment was, i told that i could reeaply. Both options had the “you arent fit for council” emotion there wasnt a “keep things friendly” this was a ultimatum.
Not sure how I’m projecting, since I’ve never done that to anyone or had it done to me on Bee, I explicitly resigned in protest over policy changes.
But you do you, chief. Doesn’t mean I ain’t gonna point out when it’s shitty.
I think you’re projecting from real world experiences. We’ve had this discussion in the past, and I know you’re very anti-corporation. Regardless, I’ll take the criticism. It’s easy to misinterpret intentions, especially over text based conversations. I could have possibly phrased it better, but I hope that my intentions of trying to provide a friendly parting is a bit clearer.
You sort of turned it into that when you resorted to nothing but insults. That’s not how it started.
I’m not old enough to ever have been asked to resign, lol. But I’ve seen it done to other people, yes, and it looks like the same behavior to me.
Me saying dumb shit is nothing but me drowsy at 4 am whit a teine overdose. I was sonewhat upset that i was being reprihended for sonething i didnt think was wrong. When i said ii was “ashamed of bee” was because of current events, i even made the coment that cutting a man tonge proves hes rigth, and whit the current events of caecelious telling me he was ““missinformed”” i dont feel very friendly towards bee admins.
