Ban Reason: Caused the SM to produce infinite rads, killing everyone on the server.
Appeal Reason: So I was CE and fast forward after I made 3 fusion cans (one with like 0.01 insta and one with like 5.9) the 5.9 high insta can was around 500k and the 0.01 one was around 5 billion kelvin. We were doing fusion reactions with the 0.01 can next to the sm which would cause the particles to hit the sm and rad collectors to make massive amounts of rads which went well and made a ton of power. Then somone asked if we wanted to pump fusion into the sm becuase you can on tg without it delaming (I think the sm can only go down a certain amount of % per tick or somthing).I made a backup space hole opening so we could flood the gas into space if needed. They got the fusion can and I told the other engs that I would watch and if it set on fire I would open it into space. So they count down and pump it into the sm and it instantly caught fire and delamed. I then claimed that I did it over comms to hopefully not get all of eng and atmos lynched for blowing up all of eng. Then the rads got so bad they spread to everyone and everyone died pretty fast from rapid rad poisoning. We were trying to test if fusion trit acted the same as normal trit in a sm loop and I guess it instantly superheats and explodes for some reason.

im not sure if tg is different but I was told this works on tg because their sm doesnt delam instantly when catching on fire.
im also not sure if this is a new atmos thing or a bug becuase ive seen people do fusion sm setups with space holes before
Seems like a honest mistake. You can’t really play this game without making a major fuckup every now and then, even if you try your hardest to avoid them.
i don’t think a single scrubber would’ve helped if whatever hellish mix you’ve pumped inside made it go fucking vela pulsar on the entire station’s Z-level
This was the most glorious case of “What would happen if I do this?” I’ve ever seen.
The SM went from 100 to 0 in one instant. Only the plasmamemes and a single clown lived through the radiation pulse. Even AI and borgs were fried. Some of the bodies had rad count in the millions.
It was not malicious, it was not intentional grief and most people were amazed at the immensity of the fuck up instead of being mad at sudden death.
A full month is way too harsh. Though fully unbeaning would be wrong too. He gotta have this medal in his ban history for the rest of time.
Considering that the entire station was killed, a ban of some sort was deserved.
Part of what factors into a ban is intent, whether or not the outcome that happened was intended or not.
