Rules Broken: Rule 7: Be excellent to each other
Possible minor slip up on rule 9: No self-antagging
Incident Description:
In dead chat Lydia called Scarlet Davidson “fucking stupid” and told them to “meta game more bitch” for saying that they shouldn’t revive a dragon as non-antag.
I also don’t think they had a valid reason IC to revive the dragon. It just seemed like “wouldn’t it be funny if” type of thought process.
Two heretics had their round cut short and security got wiped in the second confrontation with the dragon.
Additional Information:
Scarlet Davidson, myself and others lamented about Lydia reviving the dragon on lavaland in round 51667 near round end. Lydia decided to resort to insults.
I don’t think anyone is here to be called “stupid” or a “bitch” OOCly
This then devolved into all sorts of wild name calling from Nere, especially after Nexendia and Doc both referred to reviving the dragon as “a stupid idea”.
There were multiple other messages in the discord, I am not going to screen shot ALL of it.
The big thing that I saw was that other people called the idea stupid, while Fraud/Nere was calling people stupid, telling them to eat shit and so on.
Man ragebaits, gets rage. Tactics used include ad hominem, repetition, constant insults, assuming high ground, etc. Has done this before already as well.
I assume this report conspires with them, or you’re that guy to begin with, based on lack of proper evidence and cherry-picked screencaps.
I already blocked this pathetic troll, so even if you get something out of this petty report, it cannot happen again. In that regard - do whatever you want (applies to both you and whoever processes this).
Feel free to elaborate why I should engage respectfully with a person who operates this way outside of this thread.
Edit2: I’m not accusing you of ragebaiting or attacking me. These statements all refer to Doc, not the report itself. The only thing I can accuse you of is making this thread on his behalf, as I do not believe you did so organically (so to speak). I also completely stand by my actions as they were sabotaged by an antagonist directly. Indeed I can confidently argue that without antagonist action absolutely nothing would have gone wrong. But this is not what you made the report over.
I never rage baited, I just think you acted poorly.
Doc never asked me to make a report.
No conspiring happened.
Just don’t expect to call people names like this and not have someone say something about it.
Also I think that what you did IC by reviving the dragon was unjustified.
You had no reason to do that IC, you just wanted to because it was “funny”.
Anyways, I’m not going to argue about it here. The admins can see what you typed and what other people typed and make a decision.
I never made any ad-hominem attacks, I never called you names.
I was Mina Magdalena (HoP) in that round.
And no one insulted you before you decided to go off the way you did. If you think my screen caps were cherry picked, then provide your own. I highly encourage you to. If someone insulted you, and you think there was unfair criticism about your gameplay then you can speak up about it properly instead of making a scene like you did.
Alright, I looked at the whole exchange and I do agree that @PerishedFraud had an unnecessarily toxic response here.
That said, the lazarus injector still works on space dragons for a reason, and making repeated claims that “This is all your fault” when he had nothing to do with the dragon’s return to the station is absurd and at least somewhat provocative. I’d be pretty upset too in his shoes if people kept coming at me with “this is all your fault” after this scenario.
Additionally while I don’t agree with the tone he took at all, I do agree with the core message. Insisting players should never do anything that might remotely help an antagonist just because they’re an antagonist is dumb. Being upset you’re dead is one thing, but blaming it on another player is at least a bit rude even if it isn’t crossing the line. Lazarus kept its interaction with space dragon for a reason and revival with a containment plan is a really cool way to utilize it while also potentially giving the dragon a second chance if they’re clever about things. The dragon being clever about it is not the fault of the person who used an item as it is intended to be used.
