Joke applications go in general. I’ll move the thread for you. If it’s not a joke and you really expect to get mentor with only 8 hours of playtime (on this server), I’m not sure what to tell you.
I played different builds, Bay12 (both old and new code), Civ13, 4 TG servers, Eris, coded some things for both TG and Bay12 (they worked!), sprited some of them. I am NSV 13 main, so I went to Bee when I heard that NSV 13 utilizes BeeStation codebase, which is based on TG, but NSV 13 went down for an update. At first, it was more like coder’s curiosity, but I liked the community and codebase, so I decided to stay here until NSV 13 will get up. I always desire for rising up the top-tier specialists. That is why I decided to really apply as mentor, to show peoples some useful combinations of the mechanics, based on nanites, augmentations, genetics and xenobiology, to rise some really good station staff, which will have its own style, and support newbies, so they could appreciate the thing which they ask me for, and eventually become its mains, making their IC chars famous and also make them beloved by the community for being best staff, like R&D and Security. I know about un-uprootable prejudices about low playtime, but I prefer to play different servers to expand my sphere of knowledges. As example, in last days I was playing TGMC as German marine/PO, named Angela “Valkyrie” Göll. I know that I can get angry quite easy, but I learn to control myself. I was an admin of two servers, which both were TG, so I ask you to give me the chance, as my total playtime is much higher.
Since this is a genuine application, I’ll go ahead and move it back, though I can tell you it almost certainly won’t be accepted with your hours on Bee.

That aside, you’ll probably be a fantastic mentor (or even potentially an admin) with some time if your claims are true, but we judge our mentors based on their time and experience specifically with our codebase and community, not based on their time/experience elsewhere.
As such, I’ve got to leave a -1 for now. Good luck in the future though.

You overestimated what you do as a mentor.
Just because it’s not expected doesn’t mean it’s not a good goal to have. I’m not really a fan of the mentors who just take the rank as a badge to show off and then don’t actually do anything to help others - or worse, complain that players are idiots when they mess up, but never actually reach out to teach/help them learn.
if i could actually reach out as a mentor that would be aces, best i can do as-is is OOC “who played the guy who had trouble hacking a door at atmos?” round-end and hope they speak up to update them. if it was possible to mentorping players (like, say, if Ghosted mentors could have a revenant-like talk-in-your-head deal) then I could help lots, but that’s also a lot of extra liability for y’all so I dunno if you’d want to.
Cool goals and all but you cannot just play 5 rounds on a server then go apply for mentor.
