So here is how it works:
3 teams of 4 people start on station
Each team has to claim territories by hanging their banner there, this banners are disguised to normal crew as some normal objects until more parts are claimed by different kingdoms
The round is conversion based, members of a kingdom can convert people by spending glory. Mindshielded people can be convertrd by spending more
Glory is generated by claimed areas and having these items on possession of a member of kingdom generates more(list still incomplete, please tell me your ideas on this):
-cap’s crown
-cap’s sabre
-cap’s medal
-chap’s null rod
Glory can be used to order medieval weapons and armor
Each kingdom member can claim monarchy at any time (this is like choosing a cult master) this greatly increases the glory generation, but the identity of the king/queen will be revealed to all rival kingdoms, if the king dies fhe kingdom will be insta-demolished
The goals of each kingdom:
-gain victory againts all rival kingdoms, all must be destroyed
-have a monarch
-give your monarch a proper coronation by claiming atleast half the station and having the magnifiect crown and sabre and cap’s medal in the ceremony place
What can crew do?
-when 1/4 of the station is claimed by kingdoms, there will be an announcement that makes it clear that kingdoms members are active.
-when half the station is claimed , all banners become visible to crew
-crew can deconvert kingdom members by using fallen banners of their kingdom on them. Each banner deconverts 1 person.
No
Gang is:
FLASH PEOPLE TAG UNDER THE TABLES KILL ANYONE WHO IS NOT FLASHABLE WOOOOO
this is:
Claim areas to gain glory so you can convert more people, steal needed items, take risk by starting a war at round start by choosing a monarch or play it safetly
Also converts are more like cult converts, not rev or gang
Gang: Conversion Antag with the objective to expand influence across a station with a designated leader, finale includes a major event at a particular location which can only be done with a prerequisite.
Empire: Conversion Antag with the objective to expand influence across a station with a designated leader, finale includes a major event at a particular location which can only be done with a prerequisite.
Make religion involved in this. Maybe as kingdoms grow the members embrace monke more by only being able to use bows, shields, use medieval clothes (heavy knight suit for eva, plague doctor’s suit as a biosuit) etc…
The chap could be converted and the kingdom that has chap gains extra glory, while other kingdoms can designate other chaplins that are way less powerful to generate less glory points
it’s basically gangs but with rules that technically dont force murderboning rest of the crew, in reality people are just gonna kill those who are harder to convert just like in every other conversion mode
sec is gonna get dunked with no survivours and the “kingdom members” are just gonna bone each other for cap’s items
Sounds like nations with harder steps, though the concept is… alright?
But it’s still gonna end with one side steamrolling by takin’ advantage of their jobs (I can see a chemist making methnades and blowing anyone who aint them into submission, or just a robust guy beatin everyone up).
Cult: Conversion Antag with the objective to expand influence across a station with a designated leader, finale includes a major event at a particular location which can only be done with a prerequisite.
Clock Cult: Conversion Antag with the objective to expand influence across a station with a designated leader, finale includes a major event at a particular location which can only be done with a prerequisite.
All conversion game modes match this a bit. Different flavors shouldn’t be too much of a problem if the idea is unique and different enough to warrant someone coding an entire new gamemode.
A game mode based around all the high-risk items/uniques does sound pretty cool though. It would have to be high pop to work well tho.
It does for sure. Idea could use work to take more of its own form. The collecting items thing for power/rep is what saved it from being a clone for me.
Not to hijack the suggestion, but some kind of competing thieves gamemode could be cool. Multiple traitor teams all with the same list of items to collect and compete over.
I don’t understand, what’s the end goal here? Because to me, it really just sounds like this is, basically, traitors, but they’re also pirates now.
