Only having “ERP is not tolerated, you will be permabanned. We may or may not share the logs so others can laugh at you. Go to a containment server if you want to ERP.” in the rules doesn’t quite cover it. I wouldn’t even have posted the copypasta had I known you didn’t allow anything like that to protect minors and shit. I just wanted to make a funni, that’s all
This honestly couldn’t get more black and white, you decided to post something that got you banned. I’ve voiced my opinions and am going to leave it open for other Admins to chime in.
Not sure if you still wanna partake in the discussion but I still can’t see the big ‘NO NSFW’ sign anywhere. Don’t wanna sound like a whiny baby but c’mon I know I did a fucky wucky, it’s not like I came there to deliberately print out erotic copypastas in OOC and molest children. And then try to get unbanned to do that again
I mean, he does have a point in that only roleplay of the erotic nature is explicitly forbidden.
That being said, common sense should dictate that other erotic things are PROBABLY also a no-no.
To be fair, after having played on bee and having observed the community for a while, my common sense got a tiny bit distorted. My own fault tho

The rule needs clarification yes, but in the wake of VictorxVelvett we’ve been challenged by the community to hard enforce our all ages stance. The overwhelming opinion has been that even PG13 interactions like cringey hair and tail touching are dangerous for minors. In order to try and be uniform across the board, it makes no sense to not treat highly graphic copypastas or erotica the same way.
However due to WGW and copypastas being historically less severe and memey, we are not permabanning for them (yet). A 7 day is actually less severe than others have been getting recently.
That said, we need a proper announcement or update to the rules. We have typically only done very short bans in the past for WGW if at all, and we can’t expect everyone to be read up on the latest station drama and forums.
It’s also pretty funny that the same rule that lets you play on our server is the one that got you banned. Due to that I’m more inclined to agree with leaving it in place.
Aye, I’ve read the forum threads on that erp incident. I can’t say I don’t regret it though. Whatever the case, if what I’ve done there does get considered to be ERP then I’m already dead.
I’ll leave it as a warning to not do it again. You can appeal the OOC ban at a later date.
