Incident Description: I was a med doctor that shift, with AI’s help to open doors, I followed a pinpointer to a dead assistant hidden in a locker next to the brig escape pod.
Ivan Yabrovich proceeded to throw me out of brig, because as he said, he executed the assistant, but I managed to speak to HoS (S.W.I.N.S.T.O.N), who claimed that he has no control over security and is unwilling to resolve the issue, because quoting “he would be killed”. This is a breach of rule 4, as security officers are not permitted to authorize executions according to MRP rules.
After that, I insisted on healing said assistant on behalf of SOP, but he simply spaced (or tried to, didn’t see) the corpse.
When I tried to leave sec through maint with AI’s help, he proceeded to arrest me, drag me to same pod and bash to death with a club because of “aiding and abetting a criminal”, hence breach of rules 2 and 4.
After that he spaced my corpse.

Additional Information: Kind of HoS’s fault too, considering that he refused to discipline his department in any way, and spent that time watching from his office. From what I also heard, the assistant was executed because “he got fed up with him (Ivan)”.

This sounds like some high grade validhunting player who is unaware that being valid is not a thing on MRP. None of you should have been executed, since executions are only allowed for capital crimes on MRP.
Although I can’t really speak for the assistant, he might have been trying to break into the armory, in which case killing him on the spot would be allowed, but you should most certainly not have been punished in the same manner for trying to save a dead crew based on suit sensors.

Ivan beat a doctor to death while they were trying to save a person. Instead of talking it out, toolboxed it out. Then spaced the body.

The only issue I potentially see here is that a security officer made two executions without proper authorization.

Even if the first execution was unauthorized, the doctor was clearly warned about the consequences of their actions, and they definitely were guilty of aiding and abetting. Appropriate security response would have been detainment and almost certain execution.
