You are more or less correct, this is the minimum standard expected of playing on Beestation, provided it hasn’t changed dramatically in the past few months.

It was one of my favorite ways to play, bonus points if you combine it with starting as an assistant and progressing up, natural aging and hiding your identity from others until after the character has died or had an antagonist round.
If you get into it enough, you can even turn their story into a book for the library.
