Announce a no rules event on the lrp server and ser the lrp retards storm in to get dem valids

Here is what happens when we do something like that:
- A large number of people move over
- Someone sets off bombs/plasma floods etc.
- A large number of people die
- Those people move back

I seen a special event on yog where there’s a blob at round start but it’s given time to expand and prepare before attacking a prepared and defended base.
We can do something similar on lrp with a new map as a testbed

Multi blob but like 800 tiles win condition
800 is huge, even more so if you consider there’s multiple blobs and you have to destroy dead blob tiles to place your own on them, which makes killing other blobs unrewarding
You either only see one or two other blobs and win or have like 5 spawn next to you and you instantly die.
Also a blob can’t travel fast, so if a blob has 700 mass on the other end of the station you can’t just run over like in a shooter and hold them back

I think it would be nice if admins would hold more event type rounds. Even try to schedule it come up with unique ideas to keep things varied.
CM but marines have more epic gear so they don’t die in 6 seconds like on actual CM

I’ve actually have had the idea of hosting event rounds but it’s hard to pull off as 1 admin with ~60 players and a large portion just grieffing.
The more admins part can easily be fixed, but the LRP “muhuhuhu me get valid reeeeeeee” ruins the fun.
I’m also struggling with genuine event ideas. Events need to fresh and have cool “plots” and uhh… need to stay fresh and surprising. Did I mention that they need to stay fresh?
One idea that I have and have been working on for the past 2 months is [REDACTED].
The station will be [REDACTED] and there won’t be any real jobs. It’ll be locked to Assistant, but that doesn’t mean everyone will be able to tide, not like they’ll be able to because [REDACTED].
Just a nice round when everyone needs to work together to win. If anyone trust worthy is willing to help me, that’d be great. You also can’t spoil shit.
Which leads to another problem, genuine, fun events, take time. Especially when people go, “Give us an event.” and don’t even suggest a single good idea.
