Cae closed it and denied it without input from another admin. Now you may be saying “But tergius! Qwerty posted in it!” That wasn’t input on the ban, that was Qwerty telling the appealer to be patient.
I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt that Cae mistook it for input, but something like this I feel shouldn’t be ignored. I would have made an admin report but the template doesn’t exactly support forum conduct last I checked.
Caecilius is known for taking action sooner than other admins. They act with superiority over others and I don’t believe anyone has told them no. Not really surprised they would close a thread that fast, they assume they must be right.
It’s a bit weird though that it was closed with a short message, no logs and no real information other than PKA does as much damage as a punch in-doors. @Caecilius
Is there some info missing? It seems more IC from what the guy posted?
The valid claim might be shakey but with the behaviour supposedly made by the assailant it doesn’t seem weird he eventually gets killed (metagrudge behaviour, attacking without provocation, welding some one inside). If everything said was truthful ofcourse.
Bruh moment. But an appeal is also made I assume because the ban sticks to the person’s record and can be used in the future to justify a harsher punishment. Shouldn’t it be treated as a full appeal regardless of expiration because of that reason?
Also I swear to god how are 43 people voting to keep felinids in bee, dissapointed smh my head
I hadn’t really thought of that. I’ll reopen it if you insist.
Also you seem to have taken this viewpoint all of a sudden, which clearly has no connection whatsoever to the recent incident involving you and Victor.
It just seems the most fair in my opinion, this kind of stuff always shows up later in another situation. If he’s actually innocent that’s a bit shitty.
The incident regarding Winter and Victor had no bearing on this I assure you, if that is what you are referring to. All I said is that a permaban seemed excessive and based on the dissent in the thread a council decision may have been needed.
Telling a miner not to kill megafauna is like telling a chemist not to make bombs, telling a botanist not to make deathnettles, or telling an MD not to heal people. That’s their fucking job.
