Ban Reason: Banned from the servers for one week. Killed a random roboticist cause “they thought they were a ling”. Already has notes about severe self antag. Told to apeal on forums if they feel this injust. Auth by midijamz
Appeal Reason: As told above by the admin I indeed attacked and apparently killed the Roboticist. The reason also stated above is true, since I saw him with an armblade attacking a medbot or bot of some sorts. I just had entered the around and the station was a mess, hence me thinking it´s a ling round.
The Admin told me there was no way it was a ling and didn´t ask me anything about the paticular armblade I saw. I had to google to uncover the fact that there exist foam armblades which was probably what the guy was using. I didn´t know about this and the admin didn´t seem to inquire anything about a possible confusion on my part because of a possible item.
Other players wanted to help me to uncover if it was a ling or not, but didn´t know how to. we found a teleporter and handcuffs in his bag. Suspicious enough.
I appeal for the fact, that I was treated biased on previous conducts which I, on my part commited following LRP Rules by mistake. This is certainly documented by the admin who messaged me backthen. I understand, that he saw my history on conduct but don´t welcome discrimination on his part for not helping to uncover what really happened. Maybe I´m misaken but in my Eyes I deserve the same amount of help from an admin to clarify such a siuation than any other person. Taht being with or without misconducts in the past.
He just closed the conversation with the message that I was banned and that´s it. I had all the reason to think it was a ling going berserk especially when co players also thought he was one.

Im ready to admit i probbly should have discussed what was wrong about your actions in greater detail.
Im also ready to admit i did not properly investigate wether or not there was a foam armblade being used at any point - i just asked them and belived them when they said no.
Does this mean you should have your sentance reduced, and do i perhaps need to raise my standarts of investiagtion? Perhaps. Obviously i should not be the one to decide this, as i’m the one who done banned you in the first place.
Unless it turns out i made some severe error in my investiagion, i feel my sentance just.
But i do recocnise i did not take the time and effort to precisely explain your mistakes to you and for that i’d like to appologise.

Since you took the time to make an apeal i shall take the time to do now what i should have done in your tickets - explain the error of your ways.
You beat a guy to death cause you thought he was a ling, cause you saw him hitting a medibot with a foam armblade. Guy himself said he hadnt touched one all round, but even if he had, what you did is MASSIVE overescalation, even if this had been on LRP. What shouldve happend is you psuh him twice, see that its a foam blade, then appologise profusely cause you could have seen its a foam blade just by examineing him. Instead you just beat him to death.
On top of that, on MRP, you are not expected to rush head first into battle with a dangerous antag like a changeling, unless you are sec or the cap. I wouldnt have cared enough for a week ban if he realy was an antag, but this just comes on top of things.
Due to your note history i’d assumed you knew the rules by heart now having so many notes (WHICH YOU SHOULD!!!), but its not an excuse for me to just close the ticket without properly explaining.
Since you went trough the effort of making this appeal, i’d be willing to lift the ban fryday evening - if you care enough to respond and understand where you went wrong.
