You ever wonder given the number of people that get yeeted out of airlock and never found, how none of them ever land on ANOTHER station. Well this is that. Every once in a while, either in large waves heralded by a central command announcement or in smaller waves relatively consistanly, a corpse or corpses will drift toward the station, and probably land on the solars or something.
The corpses could have loot, I’m thinking the sort of loot you would get from the rarer legion corpses, like the holy knight, a carp tamer, a dead clown, a dead cluwne, and so on. Perhaps rarely, you could get a dead syndicate, dressed up in those coloured suits from the derelict, and with red cards in their pocket.
Dead ghostroles, fallen sec officers with mindshield or disabler in pocket, wizards (with benign artifacts mostly, such as maybe a bag of spell tomes), ninjas (katana or not would need balance testing), nightmares (offering the body to ghosts in case someone is stupid enough to let it revive would be a consideration), and maybe even chrono legionaires (No TED with them, for obvious reasons) and ERT/HonkSquad/ParaERT members if you really want to push it (No pulse weapons, duh) All of these would be dilluted with a steady stream of common corpses and husks, maybe just a jumpsuit, a random ID, and a zippo or dice bag in the pockets.
As a secondary idea to add onto this. rarely, very rarely, a dead romerol zombie or changeling in stasis (WAIT HE ISNT DEAD, SHIA SUPRISE) could be offered to ghosts, then land on station, to revive and bring havoc in a manner and at a rarity not dissimilar to a lone op.
I think this idea would be good for the game as it would provide more to do within the general station z-level, without risking dying in the abyss of space, never to return. It also provides an excuse to add a janitor EVA suit because he needs to clean the corpses (also purple EVA suits always look awesome and I don’t get why RD’s isn’t)
